Most people accept that, should we become a republic, the union jack should go. The question is, what kinda flag do we have? I have one one the landing page which I stole off the internet and slightly modified, and then Demon Kagerou modified slightly herself on Danski's thread to make it even better.

I want a darker shade of green than that, mind. Also, I played around with the colours a bit, throwing a dark blue in the middle there and such. So far none of it looked awesome. The bits at the top and bottome would be a small pattern of some kind, maybe reminiscent of Iran, but something Aboriginal-Inspired, not Persia-Inspired.
Are there any flags you like? What are the essential must have colours? Must have symbols?
