Sammy Hagar in my opinion made the band gay. DLR is the best and all of you know it. VH's top selling albums were with DLR.

Peabutt Sammy Hagar in my opinion made the band gay. DLR is the best and all of you know it. VH's top selling albums were with DLR. Actually,I heard the albums did better with Hagar but the stage charisma was completely lost or something like that.

Van Halen made better music with DLR but Roth was a crap singer. I wouldn't even call him a singer, just an entertainer.

DLR is the better frontman while Sammy is a superior singer. Both of them made some great albums and tours. Saw VH this past April and it was amazing! Eddie was at the top of his game. Even Gary made a few good songs on VH3 and did well in some of the live recordings I saw on Youtube. cool
