the mother (queen) loved the girl (servant) but was locked away by the princess for loving the servant and not giving what the princess wanted
the servant sneaked away and lived with a family, who gave her silk clothing and robes and a wonderful life
the princess did not like that the servant escaped, so she went to find her. she tripped and her sword went through body

the mother was freed
AND THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER! EXCEPT FOR THE DEAD PRINCESS THEY DUMPED IN THE WOODS!
