Sorry I'm not single but I have something really inportant I want say. I live with my bf but we don't plan on getting married. Interesting enough I took a psychology class last semester about love (yeah they actually have a class for it).
We went over that topic and it’s true that many people who live together before they get married do get divorced but if you look at these people their all liberal which means that they believe in divorced. Conservatives don't believe in living together before marriage because of religious bullshit and they don't believe in divorce either, even if their unhappy with their marriage for the same reason.
I think it’s good to live with someone before you get married that way you'll know what their like and if you can't stand it then it’s easier to break up with someone then get a divorced.
Not all Conservatives are religious--thats generalizing and ignorant to even say such.
However, religious people who feel it is wrong--and it's merely because you're putting yourself in a very tempting situation, which if you're trying to wait til marriage to have sex living together--it's not a good thing. XDD because you probably won't make it til marriage.
They also believe in divorces for example, if you're in an abusive relations.
They believe more in dedication--and working on a
workable marriage.
I kind of like the idea of living together before marriage so you'll know each other ways before you actually walk down the aisle. Because, you really don't know a person until you live with them. XDD
However, I also like the idea of actually wanting to wait til I get married...because I'm weird and like some surprises.
Something to look forward too after I get married.
smile Ohh soo complex lol . I'm joking--anyway I prefer more of the latter, but that's just me.
