-:- OOC Discussion -:- --------------------------
This is a place for everyone to come and talk so that OOC comments during rp are kept to a minimun. And a place for all our lurkers to gather until they are able to obtain a witch/wizard of their own.

hey everyone! *waves* I just joined, sorry I havn't been on it yet. I have been really busy with school. Do we have to be really good roleplayers to be here? I've been roleplaying for a long time, but I'm not very good yet. *sighs* Maybe I should start to get used to it. I have one question: After we get the wand, does the witch/wizard cost extra? I didn't see a price, so I was just wondering.
Blessed Be, ~Anuasis Ibis Lupinine

Blessed Be, ~Anuasis Ibis Lupinine You don't have to be a really good roleplayer, but good role playing is appreciated. I've seen some people get better since they first recieved their wands. No, you do not pay extra for the witch. You pay extra for whatever you want in your charge's room.

ok, thank you. I have been working on that question that you have to answer to get a wand. When do you think more wands will be sold?

Sorry any sales auctions ect are secret information. You will know when a sale will happen a week before, also do not pm the shop account again about wands the shop's mail is for help with raising a witch/wizard and buisness only. Next time post your questions in the shop or Q&A thread as part of the open disscussion.

Just for kicks, I'm going to try to kick-start the first... semi-long discussion! Whoo! xd
Let's talk about broomsticks. Sure, you take a long stick then tie some dried reeds or twigs. Then for the casting to give it the properties of flight... Well, it's pretty loose then -- you could cast a levitation spell on it, enchant it with a feather of some mythical creature of a sort (ie,. griffin or pegasus comes to mind), or carve runes into the stick-part of it... Though you'd have to be careful with the last, as someone can easily add a notch here and there to completely change the meaning of the runes. 3nodding
Then, there's the "style" of riding. There's straddling it, riding it side "saddle" (side broom?), and the new, "skateboarder's" way... Basically, standing on it sideways and balancing. This way, all though cool-looking, is also VERY dangerous and shouldn't be attempted unless the witch or wizard (who is daring enough to try and ride a broom in the first place) is VERY talented and skilled at broom riding, and have a bungee cord tied to said broom.
...And now, to get to the whole point of this... Since witches are the ones mostly known for flying on broomsticks what if brooms were female-only? Would wizards be forced to resort to planks of wood instead and ride'em skateboard style? Maybe have Hermes-like winged sandles? Or enchanted dishware? (flying saucer! *snicker*)
This post was brought to you by the one and only bored annoyance known as Marushii! biggrin xd

That's really cool. Does anyone here happen to know where the people who made houses for roleplaying got the website for the rooms they built for their homes? I would really like to know!

hey! I was just wondering if anyone here besides me has a magick name? Mine is Anuasis Ibis Lupinine . Anuasis is a mixture of my favorite god and goddess, Anubis and Isis. They are both Egyptian. Ibis is a name that is very special to me and my human idol's name is Ibis. Lupinine is for lupe or lupus, meaning wolf because a wolf is my favorite animal. But the coolest thing about this name is that my real name, Allison Renee Thomas, and Anuasis Ibis Lupinine have the same destiny number, 7.

I dont have a magick name... my name is just my name. As for those rooms that people have built for their houses, your best chance is to ask Pi-sama where she got them at, she started the addiction 3nodding
