So the new interview with Kishi just came out, and I have to say, things are looking good for us. Minus the slight Sakura bashing on Kishi's part, of course. -.-

サスケの人
「その後サスケとか鷹はどうなっていくのか」

岸
「今回のダンゾウとの戦いでサスケは段々目つきが悪くなって行くんですけど
更に目つきが悪くなり…そこで鷹のメンバーともいろいろあったりして
サスケが方向性が決定着く戦いになるかな…」

サスケの人
「ちょっと言えないところもあると思うので」

岸
「そうですね、ちょっと昨日担当さんと打ち合わせして
こんな感じでやるかって感じなのでまだあんまり決まってない
カッコウつけて言ってますけど…サスケはこんな感じです」

「次週からの展開も気になるところなんですけど
ナルトに対するサクラのちょっとこれまでと違った感じでとても気遣ってて…

岸
「サクラは…サスケ…サスケなんで、ナルトが近くにいるんでナルトも
気になっているんでしょうけどやっぱりサスケっていうのがあるんで、
そん中でアイツ結構驕ってるんで
ナルトが自分を好きだと言う気持ちを利用して言っちゃったり、
好きだとかナルトに言っちゃって
逆に…　意外となんかしたたかな感じで、正直に女の子っぽいの描こうと思ってて
そいで…ああいうキャラになったんですけど…まあ…これからちょっと意地を
見せるところを描こうかなていう
一応一応僕の中でヒロイン的な位置にありますので、
読者の方にヒロインっぽくないって散々言われたので
ちょっとヒロインっぽいとこ見せてやろうかなっていう
ヒナタヒナタって言うからヒナタじゃないよって言う」

サクラの人
「ナルトを抱きしめるみたい〇×△初めて見てなんかちょっとドキドキなんですよ」

岸
「まあ結構嫌なヤツは嫌なヤツなんですけど、これからちょっと上げるっていうか
そんな感じで描いてたんですけど…はい」

ナルトの人
「ナルトは火影になれますか？」

岸
「火影…そうですね、それ本となったらね…え…でも…なるんじゃないですかね？」

シカマルの人
「おい！いいんですか？そんなこと言っちゃって」

岸
「でも～…いやどうしたらいいんだろうね」

ナルトの人
「じゃあナルトの火影の前にサクラちゃんが火影になっちゃいますか？」

岸
「あ、それはない…それはない」

A question about Sakura
"Sakura had always been worried about Naruto, but her actions towards Naruto seem to have a different feel from before, she seems very anxious about Naruto...
How does she feel about Sasuke-kun?"

Kishimoto-sensei:
"As for Sakura... Sasuke... what about Sasuke? Naruto is close and she worries about Naruto as well, but as expected, she [loves] Sasuke.
Because of this, she acted quite haughty towards that guy.
She used Naruto's love for her and told him she loved him.
On the contrary.... I felt like depicting an honest girl, with a surprisingly stubborn impression.
So... she became such a character, but... well... from here on, maybe I should draw her showing a bit more spirit.
I figured I had placed her in a heroin-like situation
But from the readers I was told harshly that she wasn't heroin-ish at all
Perhaps I should show depict her a bit more like a heroin
Because you say 'Hinata Hinata,' I say 'She's not Hinata' "
The basic premise is: Sakura loves Sasuke more than Naruto. She hasn't been that heroin-ish, but Kishimoto-sensei will try to change that.

About Sakura:
"When I first saw her hugging Naruto, my heart beat throbbed a bit."

Kishimoto-sensei:
"Well, an unpleasant person is an unpleasant person, but the feeling I was trying to depict is that you could say "after this, [my opinion of her] has gone up a bit... yeah"

Naruto guy
"Will Naruto become Hokage?"

Kishimoto-sensei:
"Hokage... Ah yes, that was the original idea... ah... but... what if it isn't going to be him?"

Shikamaru guy
"Hey! Is that okay? Saying something like that?"

Kishimoto:
"But... if not, what would be the best thing to do, hm?"

Naruto guy:
"Well then, would Sakura become Hokage before Naruto?"

Kishimoto:
"Ah, no way... no way"

Oh wow, thank you for posting this. It's nice to know that Sakura still loves Sasuke. We all know that the relationship between Naruto and Sakura is brotherly-sisterly love. Geez, I wish we knew how Sasuke feels about Sakura. Everything is still ambiguous, even if it looks good for us. Knowing Kishi, he's been surprising us a lot lately... so I wouldn't get my hopes up too much... I read somewhere that Sakura will get to show her development soon and something big will happen to Kakashi as well.

But as we see from here, I'm not doubting her love for Sasuke. If you think about it, when was the last time she laughed/smiled like this? I don't think she has smiled/laughed like this since part 1...


And... OMG I miss team 7, it's been so long since they've seen each other!~ I hope the reunion is soon.

Ill try not to step on any toes while posting (I'm so scared to have my post red-lettered that's why I don't post too much recently sweatdrop ) but I needed to say something about this interview! razz

Im so glad its in black and white that Sakura loves Sasuke and does not love Naruto! (not to be a jerk to NaruSaku fans, I'm just strictly SasuSaku.)
It makes me squeal to know that Kishimoto is paying attention to Sakura at all! I hope he keeps his promise! He actually cares that her popularity went down ;_; Thank you for caring about us real fans enough to repair her image with those fakers and haters Kishi!! *cue big anime eyes and a pastel background with bubbles* Not too much attention though, because then it would make Sakura blush wink
