What is a Switch? &&&&A Switch is a ten stage evolving creature of human intelligence.&&&&The following is a list of all the different stages. Stage 01: Switch Ball (Winged Ball) Stage 02: Animagus (Animal Form) Stage 03: Toddler (1-3) Stage 04: Young Child (4-6) Stage 05: Child (7-9) Stage 06: Adolescent (10-12) Stage 07: Young Teenager (13-15) Stage 08: Teenager (16-18 ) Stage 09: Young Adult (19-21) Stage 10: Adult (22) &&&&Switches do not evolve past their prime adult-hood, age 22.&&&&At this point they are able to re-produce. After stage 3 any switch &&&&has the ability to return to stage 1 or stage 2 forms at will.Where do they come from? &&&&Once a month they appear in the cave of creation.&&&&Katherdante discovered this cave quite on accedent in 2004. &&&&That was when she found the first switch, Platinum. &&&&Since fully growing up Platinum led Katherdante back to the cave.&&&&And ever since then, each month new switches appear inside.&&&&Katherdante enters the cave and she and Platinum &&&&identify what the switch is. Then she finds a loving parent&&&&to raise the switch. Though the location is common &&&&knowledge to everyone involved with switches, only Katherdante&&&&is able to enter because her power is the same as the cave. &&&&There is an extensive network of caves beyond the cave&&&& of creation that switches explore when they are older. How do I get one? &&&&Buy one at Flatsale Price or Apply for a Gift Switch (GS).

How does a Flatsale work? &&&&There will be three slots per month, each costs 35k. &&&&Post the form that is below in the flatsale thread and &&&&wait for a confirmation. Once your order has been &&&&approved send the trade to Katherdante and she will &&&&give you further instructions on the Creation Process.
Username: &&&&- RP Experiance: &&&&List and describe RPs that you have been involved with. RP Samples: &&&&This can be links to Past RPs and/or give us some excerpts. What is your favorite thing about Switches? &&&&Just put what is driving you to try to obtain one. "just cuz" isn't... a reason. Do you have the time to care for and RP a Switch? &&&&Make sure you have looked over everything involved with this and understand &&&&the costs and time this will take. It is a game and ment to be fun, but if you dont &&&&have the time it could easily become stressful for you and your Switch! Have you read all the rules and information? &&&&Do not put yes or no... put 'monkeh buns'. That shows that you DID read the rules!
&&&&Please visit the Flatsale thread to place an order.
What happens if all the slots are taken for the month? &&&&You can give us a 5k down-payment &&&&that will be deducted from the 35k &&&&creation cost. This will hold a slot &&&&for you for the next month.
&&&&If you do not want to reserve a slot &&&&then you will just have to drop by &&&&once we have an opening.
Why only three slots at a time? &&&&The majority of my crew, &&&&including myself, are full- &&&&time college students. As &&&&such we do not have enough &&&&time to do more than three &&&&Switch creations a month.
&&&&Please keep in mind that each &&&&switch is unique. They are each &&&&compleatly one of a kind. I.E. &&&&another 'Platinum' Switch will &&&&never be created. So when &&&&a particular Switch is taken, &&&&that is it. There will be no &&&&more of that same switch &&&&available ever again.
&&&&Since this is the case be careful &&&&when choosing your switch!

What is a Gift Switch? &&&&Once a year, Christmas month to be exact, we &&&&place a Switch with a loving owner for no cost.
Who can be a GS candidate? &&&&Only those who could never own a Switch otherwise. &&&&The poor, the new to Gaia etc.
How is the winner chosen? &&&&Like anyone applying for a flatsale you must prove &&&&that you have the RP experience and time to handle a Switch.
Step 1 &&&&Fill out a "GS Application". &&&&PM Katherdante to have one sent to you.
Step 2 &&&&Help bump the Flatsale Thread each month. &&&&This is a great opportunity to hang &&&&out with us so we get to know you!
Step 3 &&&&Spend some time NPCing in the Switch &&&&Guild. The more you participate the &&&&better your chances for being picked &&&&to parent your very own switch!
&&&&You also may be asked to be a permanente &&&&NPC for someone's switch, which can be &&&&very fun as well!
Step 4 &&&&During December we will interview all &&&&those still interested in owning their &&&&own Switch and have done steps 1-3.
&&&&The crew will discuss and think about it. &&&&If a vote is a tie or we just cannot pick &&&&we will use a number randomizer to pick &&&&the winner and proud new parent of a Switch.
&&&&If you do not win a Switch the first time &&&&of course you can be considered again!
&&&&If you do win a GS you are not eligible for &&&&another GS ever again. That would not be fair.
&&&&There are extra activities you and your GS can do &&&&to help alleviate the costs of evolving your Switch.

What are 'Switch Generations'? &&&&A first generation Switch is one that is obtained through a flat sale or is a GS. &&&&A second generation Switch is one that is born of two first generation Switches.
What are 'Switch Series'? &&&&All Switches are unique and a part of a limited edition series. &&&&Every Switch Series has a different theme. The first Switch &&&&Series is "Metalic Switches".
How does the 'Switch Numbering System' (SNS) work? &&&&All SNS consist of three number sets. &&&&They work a little differently depending on the generation.
SNS for First Generation Switches &&&&Switch #1_01_01 - Platinum &&&&The first number set refers to the Generation #. &&&&1 stands for 'First Generation'. &&&&The second number set represents the Series Number. &&&&Metalic is the first series, so 01 represents 'Metalic Series'. &&&&The third number set represents the Switches' number within the Series. &&&&So, by looking at the number we can tell that Platinum is a first &&&&generation Switch, within the first series and is the first Switch &&&&within that series.
SNS for Second+ Generation Switches &&&&Switch #2_01_01 - ? &&&&The first number set refers to the Generation #. &&&&2 stands for 'Second Generation'. &&&&Since this is a Second Generation there is no 'Series Number'. &&&&The second number set instead reflects the order in which the &&&&second generation switches were born. So, this Switch is obviously &&&&the first Second Generation Switch born. &&&&The third number set does not represents the Switches' number within a series. &&&&Instead this number represents the number the switch is within it's family. &&&&You can tell from this that this Switch is it's parent's first born.
&&&&So, by looking at the number we can tell that this Switch is a second &&&&generation Switch, the first second generation to be born and is also &&&&the first Switch to be born to it's parents.

How do Switches evolve? &&&&Switches grow differently from us, they do not age by time passing. &&&&If your switch ball just sits in your pocket forever it will never change. &&&&In order for a switch to evolve it must be active. &&&&There is a minimum list of activities for each stage that a switch must do in order &&&&for it to evolve. Each stage also costs a different gold amount. &&&&This ammount will cover artists costs. The initial payment &&&&pays the entire Game Crew. They will be creating &&&&custom items and events for you, as well as playing &&&&NPCS, updating your Switches stat sheet and developing &&&&your Switches powers.
&&&&Your switch can stop evolving at any point or stay in a certain stage for how ever &&&&long you want or need it to. Switches grow by experiences.
&&&&We discourage you to undertake owning a switch if it is too time and money/gold &&&&intensive for you. Switches are like children, and like children they demand both time and gold.
Evolution Costs for a Switch &&&&Here is a list of the different evolutionary stages of a switch and the gold costs &&&&and specifics for it to be able to reach the next stage.
Stage 01: Creation (.| 35k Stage 02: Activities | 10k Stage 03: Activities | 10k Stage 04: Activities | 10k Stage 05: Activities | 15k Stage 06: Activities | 15k Stage 07: Activities | 15k Stage 08: Activities | 15k Stage 09: Activities | 15k Stage 10: Activities | 20k
Evolution Rate of a Switch &&&&Your switch can take as long or as short a time to evolve as you would like. &&&&The only stipulation is a minimum requirement of time that they must &&&&spend in each form before they can evolve.
Stage 01: 2 weeks Stage 02: 1 month Stage 03: 1 month Stage 04: 1 month Stage 05: 1 month Stage 06: 2 months Stage 07: 2 months Stage 08: 2 months Stage 09: 2 months Stage 10: Final Form
12 months and 2 weeks is the fastest that a switch can evolve into full maturity.

How do I Role-play with my Switch? &&&&You and the switch interact with each other &&&&and do tasks to make the switch evolve. &&&&The switch also will need to make friends &&&&with other switches and their parents/families.
&&&&You or a chosen friend may rp the switch. &&&&Feel free to make a mule account for the Switch.
What are 'Switch Stat Sheets'? &&&&Battles and some events will be determined by dice rolls. &&&&Stat sheets list your switches abilities and information. &&&&We are still developing a battle system for switches. &&&&It will be a mainstay once some switches evolve enough &&&&to go on serious adventures and explore the caves.
Can I introduce creatures from other Breedable Shops into RP? &&&&Yes, but they cannot participate in cave/world exploration. &&&&That is switch only territory. Feel free to role play any children &&&&or pets you own from other stores with the Switch. The only &&&& requirements is that everything is represented in character in a &&&& logical fashion. Don't just have your switch at stage 6 and all of &&&& a sudden have a fully grown sister they never knew about before &&&& unless there is logical plot behind it. Also keep a list of all family, &&&& friends, pets and items in your Switch's home thread.

Are Switches breedable? &&&&Yes. But Switches are also monogomus. Meaning they only take one mate, ever. &&&&That means even if their mate dies they will not take another. Period. &&&&Read on to learn how to breed your switch with another switch.
Can a Switch breed with something other than a Switch? &&&&If you mean with a breedable from a different shop... &&&&no, that would get too complicated. I do not mind them &&&&meeting, rping and being friends/brother/sister with &&&&breedables from other places though. Everything just &&&&has to be represented through RP.
How does my Switch breed with another Switch? &&&&There are Three elements involved when it comes to two switches breeding.
Courtship &&&&A relationship must gradually be developed between the two switches. &&&&They are of human level intelligence both mentally and emotionally, &&&&you cannot breed them like animals.
&&&&Strong emotions must be involved for Switches to mate, &&&&and both switches must have reached full adult-hood to &&&&be able to produce a second generation switch.
Quest &&&&The quest a switch couple must take to be able to reproduce is currently unknown. &&&&Switches were just discovered and only one has reached adult-hood; thus we are still &&&&learning more about them. It is likely that the quest differs per the matching and their &&&&personal characteristics. Also, part of the quest may include questing for the gold required.
Cost &&&&Costs are exactly the same as it would be for a flatsale switch. &&&&The child can be kept mutually by the parents' &&&&or it can be given to a friend to raise.

How does my Switch make friends? &&&&Just like we do, by meeting and interacting &&&&with other people and switches.
How does my Switch get special items/events? &&&&Special Items will be created for and given to your switch at least once per stage. &&&&The number of items your switch will get will be dependent on it's activity level. &&&&The type of item your switch will get will be dependent on it's maturity, &&&&personality and skills.
Is it alright for me to use gift items and pets from other places with my Switch? &&&&If you are given a gift item or commission an item be it piece of cloathing &&&&an object or a pet, that is fine. It just will not have any special powers within &&&&the roleplay and you also must represent the presentation of it to the Switch &&&&via roleplay and add it to the list of items on the Switches' home thread.

How does my Switch get a familure? &&&&Pets can only be obtained as 'in game' items/events within the Switch RPG. &&&&At a certain age every Switch has the desire for a companion and will &&&&go on quest to find one just for them! The costs and time for creating &&&&a one of a kind pet for your switch are already included in evolution &&&&cost, just like all other events, special items, stats etc.

Does it get a Stat Sheet? &&&&Goes here
