A few Rules to get us started. Please read these before posting, which could save us all some trouble...later down the road. Thanks.....
1. Gaia's Terms of Service must be observed and followed, because it will be enforced.
Some quick points on the TOS specifically....no cybering, no trolling, no spamming, etc. etc.....
2. No flamming on any level will be tolerated. If someone upsets you, you have two options. 1. You let it go and move on. or 2. Notfiy one of the captains and we will take care of it- most likely by deleting the offending post or contacting the offender through PM until a resolution is met.
3. Debates are certainly welcome, keep them civil and be prepared to back up your arguements with sources if need be. We're all friends here guys, let's keep it from getting personal.
4. Fan Fiction is always welcome. These should be posted on the Fan Fiction sticky's. ( At least until the Fan Fiction sub forum get's posted.) Same goes for Roleplaying...it's welcome. And there will be a sticky/sub forum should the need arise for one...just keep it clean.
5. Try and stay on topic. It's cool to want to discuss something but if it strays from the topic of each thread, then start a new thread. I don't want to be restrictive, but let's try and keep it easy to figure out what's going on in each thread.
6. If your thread contains spoilers, use a spoiler tag, to let people know that there is a possibility they may learn plot points for future episodes before they are aired.
7. No repeat threads if it can be helped. Before making a new thread, make sure there isn't a current thread already discusing the issue.
8. As the guild grows, and we start adding subforums, I will be moving threads to the correct places. If you find that your favorite post is missing, check the corresponding subforum for it. We are only going to delete repeat topics or topics deemed in violation of the posted rules. So don't assume the worst.
9. Please no One word posts. They are very annoying and unwanted. If you have nothing to say or discuss about something don't post at all. It is basically spamming.
And finally...have fun. That's what it's all about. The TOS covers a lot, so there are very few rules that I've had to make on my own. If you know the TOS, you know how you should behave. If you don't, check this out- Terms of Service
In the meantime, enjoy...and Don't forget to check out our subforums, especially "The Daily Planet".
