As a Master at Arms I have seen ALOT of changes in my rate just in my 3 years. We have gone from law enforcement, to Naval infintry, to now we are basicly overarmed security guard (the reason I cant wait to get out) Anyone elses rate drasticly changed?

They merged Dental Tech's with the Hospital Corpsmen Rating, so now it's harder for anyone to pick-up rank. However, on a good note, they've finally replaced our quikclot with combat gauze, so now we're not burning our patients while we save 'em!

I'm an EN. We engineering types are very conservative. Very heavy on the "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." That said, the Navy itself has changed significantly in the past nine years.

I just found out the SK's and the PC's merged into the LS (logistics specialist). We had this LS1 at our rifle range, and I had no idea what that was (thank god for mobile google ^_^).
