All you have to do is explain a little about yourself, and warm into the guild!
Me first;
My name is Curse (you can call me Tim if you really like though =P). I'm a student in Canberra, Australia and I am a republican.
Generally, I fit into a slightly right of centre political spectrum, but regardless, I put my full backing behind a Democratic Republic, with a national Bicameral* legislature and an enshrined Statute of Liberty.
*In case it is unknown, Bicameral means there are two level of government, it's just like we have now, a Senate and a House of Representatives.
I'm a friendly guy, you can catch me on Skype or MSN sometimes, just ask if you want to grab my addy's. I also do poetry, the link to my DA which features most of my work is on my profile. I also enjoy playing Olympic (aka European, aka Team) handball.
Edit: Changed 'Mandatory' to 'Stereotypical' to avoid confusion.

Greetings, I = DanskiWolf.
Student from Sydney and I, too, favour mainting the bicameral legislature. Politically, I'm on the centre-right, perhaps best described as a pragmatic small-l liberal, though I'm not currently affiliated with any party.
Other than reading about and discussing history and politics, my primary hobby is drinking and staggering from night club to night club.
---
So you play Olypmic handball, Curse? I remember in Year 4 we had to pick an Olympic sport from a list and do an assignment on it. I picked handball, thinking it was the game played with four squares and a tennis ball. razz

Damn school kids takin' our names! ehe. It's a mostly European played sport though, but it's growing. I know for fact there are some Sydney based clubs wink wink

Hey. I am from Melbourne and consider I am somewhere down the bottom of the foodchain.
I also consider myself leftist, and possibly a republican and would one day hope that Kim Jong Il may consider handing me Nth Korea rather than an upstart.
I have an 'anti-celine' chip implanted in my head, and are seeking an 'anti-whitney' one.
...and I am waiting for the KevinRudd/MalcomTurnbull single celled organism to divide so I am once again to be offered 'choice'.
Hope you are all taking it easy.

Hi there, I'm Noogie AKA Peter and I'm from the state that carries you sacks, Western Australia. I work for Woolworths Limited in the d**k Smith electronics chain. I'd like to think of myself as left wing, but often I find myself confronted with convincing arguments from the other side.
I am a Republican though, and would have voted as much had I been legal way back when. smile
Oh, and I play WoW.

Sorry for being a little late in my reply, if I hadn't mentioned, I am a little slow lofl. The anti-celine chip comes in real handy, but can be a apin in the arse if I want to use a lift, or browse through department stores. I tried getting a anti-miley chip, but that would make leaving the house too difficult.

Good arvo all! I am shinjiou, or Mark, whichever you prefer to call me!
I've been a strong supporter of an australian republic since i was 15, well from what i can remember it was 15.
My own political beliefs take me down to the centre, and so i sometimes sway left or right, but usually left. I'm an atheist ad, thusly being one, do not believe in any form of after life, reincarnation.....blah! blah! blah!
I hope to have some good conversations in here, and look forward to talking to all of you.

Hello, I'm Willow(writing out my extremely pretentious name in full is just stupid. You can also call me James if you prefer). I'm an eighteen your old student who lives in Melbourne and will be in his final year of school next year. I am a rabid fan of Joss Whedon writings, have a large interest in cricket, and still have absolutely no idea what I want to do after school. I have recently developed an interest in drawing and writing(both poetry and prose: you may have seen some of my pretentious parody songs or my prose writing under the guise of The RP Troll) but I still pretty much suck at those.
Politically, I am a left-leaning, not affiliated with any party, and am basically totally ambivalent about the issue of an Australian republic(although what ever happens I do want a Bicameral system maintained) .

Hello, fellow Republicans!
Call me 00 or Oblige, or just Matt if you wish. I'm a student and a devoted Republican My politics are those of the far right on many issues but on a few things I'm more to the centre right of things, and on rare occassions even a bit *shudders* left leaning in my views. On that note I utterly despise quite dislike both communism and socialism, from both an idealogical and practical standpoint.
I fully support a democratic Republic with a bill of rights and a redrafted constitution, retaining the bicameral system. the one change I'd like to see if we become a Republic is the elimination of one level of government, most likely state to make things run more smoothly but thats just my crazy notion.

Hello! *smiles for 5 minutes with an awkward pause*
I'm Norman James Kemp IV, call me Norm or Zed. Yeah. *stares off pondering to himself for 10 minutes* I'm 22, gay, and an a*****e. Yeah.
I like meat, shags, and long walks on the beach.
I'm an anarchist and just want all structured government to let me be free, but secondarily, I'm a communist.
I has MSN and Myspace page www.kemperfidelis@hotmail.com www.myspace.com/kemperfidelis
Don't ask... I spent 4 years in the American Marine Corps, first hand hatred of the capitalists, you see.
