The rules are simple. Obey the ToS.

Other than that, it is preferred if you keep on topic in actual threads. Though currently, there is nothing wrong with non-republic related thread subjects, please stick generally to them!

When people have been breaking the rules, they will be handed a strike.

The Strike System explained:


1st Strike: Do something wrong and you will be given a strike.
2nd Strike: Do something else wrong and you will be given a second strike!
3rd Strike: Three strikes, you're out.

Notes to consider:

-You may be stepped up more levels than one if your offence has been especially bad. Massive image trolling for example.

-It is moderator discretion whether or not the ban or level of strike was good enough to merit repercussions. If you are annoyed with the result, you may PM me, or if you are annoyed with my decision, PM someone else who can reach me (or just me) with your defence and we'll talk about it.

-Naturally, Long Term Good behaviour (as in, generally doing nothing wrong after a mishap for a length of time that would be relative to the offence) will step you down a level, or off the chart altogether. The length of time this takes is moderator discretion.

-Please do not suggest people should be banned for this or that. However, you may report obvious rule breaking via PM. Please do this only when necessary however.

-You may use this thread to discuss your opinions about the strike system and how it is being utilised. All problems, objections and ideas will be taken into consideration.

-The rules are subject to change, I will endeavour to announce such changes when they occur.



The Punishments Defined:

You will get one strike for unlawful behaviour for acts such as (but not limited to):
Deliberately Trolling and inciting a flame war to an extent a moderator deems necessary.
Spamming or otherwise wrecking a conversation.
Stretching a page extensively.

You will be handed a second Strike for(but is not limited to):
Repeating any of the above offenses.
Comitting any of the above offenses in a large quantity or to an extent that a moderator deems worthy of two strike status.

You will be Banned for the following(but not limited to):
Repeating any of the above offenses continuously.
Comitting any of the above offenses to such a large extent the guilds integrity and ease of use is compromised or to such an extent that the moderator deems worthy of instant ban.
Spamming the entire Forum or close to it with offensive pictures, language etc with no purpose but to troll, spam etc.
