So, this recent X-Files revival has gotten me thinking about other FOX shows that have been canceled over the years, which reminded me of one of my favorite one-and-done shows, Profit.

It's where I first 'noticed' Adrian Pasdar as an actor, and as such, is the role that I typically remember him for. He plays Jim Profit, a kind of morally relativistic (psychotic b*****d) guy who will stop at nothing to get ahead in the company he works for. It was the kind of show that would probably work well nowadays, but since it was in 1996.... well, there you go. Plus FOX had (has) a tendency to cancel shows before they get a chance to actually take off, so it was killed before it's time.
Anyway, anyone else remember (and like) the show or am I the only one?

It sounds familiar! But no, I did not watch it. I want to now though. For being short lived it is pretty awesome it has DVDs! I think I'll look for them. ninja
