I really like your pics!! What did you use to color them? Pencils or markers?
The only adjustments I'd make to the first picture is put the eyes closer together... I wouldn't touch the right one (her left) as it looks great... I'd just move the left eye a bit closer... eyes should be an eye width apart (though I'm not sure how this translates into half-side view... I find this challenging too!)
The second drawing... again it's the eyes on the guy that are giving me trouble... they are too far apart...(he kinda looks fish-eyed! smile )
As for the angel in the back great!! (Is it a boy or a girl?) I sometimes have trouble to tell in mangas... sweatdrop
If you drew these quickly I can't wait to see what you will draw if you apply yourself!! It's great!

The eyes, yeah, I kind of faltered that way. I realized it too late when I've finished inking. But as for the question. I've used both pencils and markers it the pics. ^^ And Kahel? A "he" for sure. ^^ I think I made him look evil, though...he wasn't supposed to be.
