Though many artists have a dark way of looking at things, this artist reminded me of Silent Hill. Elaine Green has a small gallery set up in the building my Survey of Art and Drawing classes are located, and I went to have a look.
A few of the pieces she had displayed were of pipes, but she presented them almost like fleshy limbs. A lot of her titles for the pipes had to do with being bound, or struggling with something, and so of course I was reminded of Silent Hill.
Here is a link to some of her work...I couldn't find any pictures of her drawings of pipes (probably because they're currently on display right now) but her other stuff is still interesting.
So, do any of you know of any other artists around that might have been inspired by Silent Hill?
