this might not be what you are looking for but.. i think all schools should have a day when anyone they know who is in the military come to school and get awared with something, my school is having that and we are having the mayor come and talk and thank all of them ,and if that person has passed away you bring a picture i remeberence
and i think this is a good way in reachng out and learning more about the military.

That's actually a really good idea. I would love to have that, then agian i was not the most popular person in school but at the same time i know enough about the military to give a few good hints. Plus it would give me something to look foward to whenever i get sent to Iraq or Afganastan and want just one more reason to come home again.

True, and wouldn't like pics for those who pass while fighting the good fight out there. Could send the wrong messages. But, I agree with Raize, good ideas. LETS KEEP EM' COMING!

what my school did ws amazing! we had people, from army, navy, airforce ect. i loved it
because of my parents both in the navy i go to do a flag folding and we had the mayor talk about history in the forces
we had everything i would have cryed but i didnt but i loved it
and i wish my mom and dad and everyone who is serving could have seen it heart heart heart
