Name: Cammi Melville
Gender: Female
Age:: 16 ( Will be 17 on October 18 )
Appearance: Cammi stands 5'8 and is solidly builds with broad shoulders and a thick frame. Her rich golden hair is kept in a simple and easy to maintain pixie cut that keeps it out of her pale blue eyes. Cammi has an olive skin tone that's usually darkened a bit by the time she spends out in the sun,
Not all that big on fashion Cammi tends to go with comfort over anything else. She sticks to athletic wear for the most part, things that help her performance and are easy to wear. Cammi does like interesting designs on her clothes though so as long as things meet the previous requirements she will be a bit picky on what she chooses to buy and wear.
Personality: Cammi is an adrenaline junkie, the type of girl who likes to live on the edge. She takes on any challenge that comes her way and tries to prove that nothing is impossible. If asked why she often takes great risks with no real substantial payoff Cammi’s answer will always be. “Because I can.” Buildings exist to be jumped between or off of, slippery rock faces are put before her to be climbed. These things aren’t obstacles to Cammi, they are chances to push herself and have a little fun.
Cammi desires no fame or recognition for these stunts because they are done for her; for that glorious adrenaline high she gets when her heart races a mile a minute. Anything that could give her that feeling is worth being tried at least once as far as Cammi is concerned.
Though always a daredevil even as a small child, Cammi is now at that lovely teen age where she thinks she’s indestructible. Though this allows her to take risks that may pay off in battle it also means she puts herself and Bianca in harms way more often than is advisable. She’s not actively trying to cheat death in battle but she’s not yet good at judging which surprising attacks are worth how vulnerable the pair leaves themselves in order to perform them.
Perhaps her greatest flaw is that Cammi has yet to learn that the world doesn’t always have to be lived in a headlong rush towards whatever is happening. Only time will tell if Cammi will mature enough to learn that there are other, greater payoffs in life than just adrenaline. She has the attitude and will to succeed at anything she tries but more experience and wisdom is definitely required.
Social wise Cammi is extremely friendly but easily bored. Anytime a conversation starts to bore her or sparks a new thought of something semi related she must interrupt the current speaker, even if it’s herself, and force a change of topic. She can be very childish in that while she doesn’t need to be the center of attention Cammi does need to be interested or entertained or she simply will not pay attention. If you’re talking about something Cammi cares for though she will gladly chat with you for hours. She is willing to listen to opposing view points and consider them as long as they are on a topic she finds appealing.
History: Cammi was raised in Death City as an only child by her two parents. Her father is a retired technician, turned hopeful writer and stay at home parent. He was her biggest influence growing up and a strong supporter of letting Cammi explore the world in her own way. Her mother is a mechanic who passed on her love of fast moving vehicles to her daughter. Childhood was a stage of learning and experimentation for Cammi and a though she was often band aid covered she recalls being a happy and loved child.
Cammi grew up a daredevil from the days she was balancing on a teeter-totter and met Bianca to the days when the pair of them would race their bikes through home made obstacle courses. What was once a simple joy at doing exciting things and seeing how far she could push herself became an obsession and a need for the heart racing pule pounding adrenalin rushes she aims for today. With Bianca as a steadfast companion and rather indulgent parents there was little to hold Cammi back from pursuing everything she thought was a challenge.
Attending Shibusen has always been a goal for Cammi. Her father's stories of his time there and as a technician made her curious about what the school could mean for her. Befriending Bianca and thinking about what they could do together certainly didn't hurt her aspirations any. Cammi also harbors the desire to make the world safer so that people can worry about more important things than evil people running around.
