Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch
There are seven mermaid kingdoms, each of a certain sea. The North Pacific Ocean is home to the pink mermaids, while its south counterpart is of the yellow mermaids. The North Atlantic Ocean is of the green mermaids, and the south is the aquamarines. Up north, the Arctic contains the deep blue mermaids, while the Antarctic is home of the purple ones. Last but not least, the Indian Ocean houses the orange mermaids.
Long ago, the seven mermaid princesses, Luchia, Coco, Lina, Hanon, Noel, Caren, and Sara, had established relationships with the human world. In the end, all the mermaids had to leave their boyfriends and return to their underwater dwellings, as well as Noel and Caren, the twins, having to separate to the opposite ends of the planet.
Luchia had ended up becoming the next Aqua Regina, the Goddess of the Ocean. While she was dying, Luchia had used the last of her powers in hopes that loves would be reunited. She died in bliss, knowing that there was another life ahead.
Now, present-day, the reincarnated mermaids are living peaceful lives. Just like the beginning of Gakuto's terror, not all mermaids know each other. However, they're about to get a big surprise, as secrets can't stay secrets for long, especially when the kingdoms are missing their next ruler!

Let us be literate, shall we? No one is perfect, but I wish for the sentences to be comprehensible. Human profiles should be sent under the title of your favorite ice cream flavor. A few spelling and grammar mistakes are fine; I, too, tend to have problems with my literacy. However, please don't make it a habit.

I'm sorry if you don't wish to be uniform, but I insist you write in third person. I also wish for complete sentences and paragraph(s). You know what I'm talking about. Put 'Fin' at the end of your profile so that I know you read the rules. Complete sentences have a subject and predicate, while a paragraph is at least three sentences. Come on, we're old enough to know what they are! Lastly, no text talk. I don't care if you're lazy. Quality over quantity! Either way, text talk gives you neither.

You wish to know about the profile requirements? Well, you better read through all these rules carefully, okay? I know people tend to write about being orphans, abuse, or other dramatic, sad pasts, but it's getting overdone. Those stories better be unique and tasteful if you decide to do it.

My word is law! Please adhere to my rules. They are here for a reason other than mere decoration. If you can't follow the rules, don't even think of sending a profile. Not only that, but I wish for the guild's rules to be followed as well.

Please stay active. You will have a week before a warning shows up. I'd like to be told when you are on hiatus. We would have to make preparations if you are, especially when you're needed in a certain part of the plot.

I had forgotten a few things, so let's get on with it. I don't like Mary-Sues and Gary-Stus. You are not to control another person's character without the consent of said person. Therefore, any unmentioned contact and such shouldn't be put that another person's character did it. If making a mermaid, PM your profile under whatever sea it should be from. You control your actions and yours alone. Also remember that the focus is not all on you; let the spotlight shine on everyone else as well!

Refrain from cybering. Gaia is PG-13, and I know for sure that those younger than the required age limit break the rules anyways. Reservations for the original characters are under the character's name. Follow Gaia's TOS and other rules that have been made. No one wants to be banned, correct?

You wish to know more about me? Well, here's my story. Nothing much has really happened to me so far. I think that's a good thing. I live in a small house, alone. Well, mostly alone. Everyone who actually resides in it are always away or busy. Hanon comes by a lot. I go to school and have fun with my friends there. Not much really.
I've actually kept my personality from long ago, so I'm still that girl that represents the stereotypical anime heroine. You know those charmingly clumsy, kind-hearted, dense, gullible, sacrificial ones that captivate little girls. Not only that, but the easily jealous part is there too! Although I have courage and determination, when they fail I tend to give up and complain.

Fate had given me two loving parents and quite a few friends friends, including Rina, a girl who is five years younger than myself. I've recently moved to an apartment, which is in town; it's much easier to travel compared to driving from the city just to go to school.
I love to learn, and you can usually find me in the library. It's a habit that was picked up after much teasing from others; I didn't mind that my name was a boy's one, but the kids annoyed me too much. I'm currently thinking about getting a job somewhere.
Deep down, my mind and heart still act as before. An opposite of my sister Caren, I'm said to be calm, caring, and gentle. (AKA These are the accepted OC profiles. ^_^)  Hello! My name is Hikari Torai, and I've inhabited this wonderful planet for 20 whole years! Isn't that amazing? Since I'm older, I'm now busy being a hotel owner.
You wish to know more about me? Well, here's my story. I was born an aquamarine mermaid but raised in the northern hemisphere. When each sea's princess wasn't found, everyone was called back to their respective kingdoms. When I turned nineteen, the mission to find the princess was entrusted to me; this led to me receiving the orgel which tells the location of any aquamarine mermaid in the world.
I have decided to revive the forgotten Pearl Piari, the hotel originally run by mermaids of long ago. It was a bit hard to recognize it, but I have figured out that all the mermaid princesses are here. I haven't yet told any of them about their fate, but it shall be revealed soon.
Due to my past and the influences in my life, I turned out to be mature and responsible. It has been drilled into my head that risky actions have consequences and to think before you do something foolish. I still love to have fun as I'm only a young adult and won't pass down an opportunity for something exciting.

MMPPP SoundtrackAs this RP is based on a cute little anime, the mermaids have the odd power to harm villains by song. (Yeah, yeah. Pretty lame now that I think of it.) Anyways, I shall post links to the songs. (Mostly because I get bored.)
Koi Wa Nan Darou One of Luchia's character songs. English translation differs from person to person, but I usually call it 'What is Love?'
Yume No Sono Saki He I haven't usually listened to this one, but my estimate is that it's only Luchia, Hanon, and Rina. I think I've heard a version of just Rina though.
Kibou no Kaneoto This video's title separated the last word to 'Kane Oto,' but I'd feel really odd writing that instead. This is a second season song, which all the mermaids can sing.
Sekai no Ichiban I'm actually unsure about this song's title. O_o It sounds like it's only Luchia and Hanon singing or maybe just Luchia. It's, of course, second season because I'm more forgetful of it.
Mother Symphony This song is one of Luchia's character songs. It was introduced in the second season. This version is of Luchia, Rina, and Hanon.
Rainbow Notes As the opening of the second season, no mermaid actually sings this. It's way pretty though, so why not put it on?
Legend of Mermaid Legend of Mermaid is what I call the classic song. All mermaids know it in the beginning and was used quite a few times to help the plot.
Super Love Song This song is really cute! Sang by Luchia, Hanon, and Rina, Super Love Song was introduced early in the first season. I'm unsure if it really has a 's' at the end.
Beautiful Wish Since this is sung by Seira, this is obviously a song from the second season. Sorry, Seira fans, but she's not in this roleplay.
Kodou ~Perfect Harmony~ This was the last song introduced in the first season. If the video is correct, then only Coco, Luchia, Hanon, and Rina sang this. How do I know it's not all of the mermaids? Each mermaid would get a solo otherwise. (I can instantly recognize Caren's and Noel's voices. xD_
