Ya know, it figures Gaia's new feature goes live and they disable profiles. Gaia, gotta love it...
So, are you interested in having your av style judged? Is anyone considering entering?

I've been considering it, seeing as I've nearly won a "prestigious" avatar contest or two, but I'm kinda turned off by the 1000g entry fee. I think I'll hold back a while to see how they go, then decide.

I've been around enough ATers to know that if I gave a s**t, this account'd be my fighting chance since it's the only one I really bother color co-ordinating and putting effort into being style consious in the Gaia sense, but I don't so I won't. Or maybe in my vanity I regard this avatar to be the height of Gaian fashion and would thus declare the entire proceeding to be a sham and biased were I not to win and procede to wage an implacable campaign of guerilla warfare against the administrators out of the sheer unfairness of it all. Either way I reckon Gaia is a safer place without me entering the contest.

I was the kinda guy who doesn't really care what others think of me to begin with, so I think its a lame idea completely. I mean, it sounds kinda like high school all over again. Its all popularity contests and commercialized and media ridden garbage. I'll stay safe and happy in my closed off little world of Kapow where events and happenings of Gaia's unruly and detestable community isn't allowed.
But kudos to who enters and good luck.

If even that. Ah'm under the distinct impres'n that the median age of Gaia is 'round 14. Luck'ly, Ah only frequent places whar that age is quite a bit higher.
