I really dont feel like getting into it right now, but this has been going on for awhile with me. I'm not looking for attention, not looking for sympathy, i'm just wanting an answer..and to be honest, i dont even know why i'm doing that. I know God is the only one who knows my heart, and no one online can truly tell me..but i guess i'm just trying to get my hopes up. My topic of this post is suicide. Fun, right? I'm a Christian, i believe in God. I know i have to ask forgivness of my sins, and i do. I struggled with SI and God helped me overcome it. Now i'm into something else, Eating disorder (whoopie). Other things are added but i dont feel like going into them. But i'm drained. I'm tired, and i cant take this. I've driven a friend of mine crazy on how many times i've talked about ending my life and meaning it. He never knows if i'll do it or not..i feel horrible doing it to him. He's such a great friend. But i cant do this anymore. I dont want to. I'm holding on by one little thread. And that thread is if i'll go to heaven or not. If i had the okay, if i knew i'd be in heaven, i'd end my life right now. Like i said, this isnt a sympathy post, i dont want mean comments, i just, i dont know , i guess i'm wanting an answer. Do you think God will let me enter Heaven?

(1 Corinthians 6:19-20 NIV) Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body. (1 Corinthians 3:16-17 NIV) Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him; for God's temple is sacred, and you are that temple. Judging from the two verses above, its not okay, but does it mean you won't enter Heaven? I have no idea, and I havent found anything saying thats the case. The verse may be out there, I don't know. However, its certainly not worth taking the risk. Your body and mine body as 2 christians, belongs to God. Only the Lord must be the one to decide when a life is going to end, He has the right to take it, and to give it. We christians is the temple for the Holy spirit, lets not destroy that very precious bond we have with God. Life is tough and yes, many have felt that way, don't forget, our Lord has went through the most horrible way of experiencing life aswell. Besides...im sure many people wouldn't like it that you leave that way, ive always thought that there is people who will always love you. For God and for those people, with all respect, don't do it. Yeah...I know, its easy for me to say that. But, I don't know how you are feeling. Sorry though, I couldn't find the answer to your question. *Edit*"It says in Romans "For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."Thanks to the gaia'n SuzukaHonda for bringin this up on another Christ guild, I believe that she was right in telling the other members that a Christian wouldn't be cutoff from the Lord. Read Suzukas full post here. http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=16709269 Maybe it opens up a little hint on how things really are.

Ecclesiastes 8:8 No one has power over the day of his death.
God has a plan for you, as he does for everyone else in the world. If he wanted you dead then he would have made it happen already. if you're going through hurt you need to put all your sorrows and problems in front of him and push all the pain to him. He knows what's wrong and if you trust in your heart that god will provide for you, then he will.
Verses to think about;
1 Peter 4:12-16 Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.
Psalm 119:50 My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life.
However, Who am i to tell you that God will deny your right into heaven because you end your life? I am not God, I will NEVER even come close to even be able to think about comparing. If in your heart you are 100% sure that the only way out is to kill yourself (WHICH ITS NOT) then its between God and yourself. But I tell you this: God loves you and whether you believe it or not, he never puts on your plate more than you can handle. My advice is to persevere through you hard times so you can see the good ones because when you look back on it all, it's worth it.
[In another rather bold way, think about it. If God lets you in Heaven then problem solved, right? Well what is he doesn't? is eternity in Hell worth cheating life out of a few years?]
As for your friend, I personally have been in the same position as he has and depending on the person, it can be a joy to lift that person up or it can feel like a burden; BUT I PROMISE YOU that he will always be there for you. He loves you from the inside out and knows what you are going through because through what you tell him-He's been through it all with you spiritually.
Just think of the things you could lose and reflect; is it worth it?

Not meaning to sound mean but Suicide is a sin and if you are dead you cannot ask forgiveness for that sin so you do the math.
God is not willing that any should parish and will work with you and try to get through to you but ultimately - You have your own free will that He will not go against. That is what makes Him such an awesome God! He does not force us to serve Him! He gives us the choice! We choose death or we choose life.
I am praying that you will reach out to Him and let Him help you. He wants to help you - but you have to choose HIM!

pianogran Not meaning to sound mean but Suicide is a sin and if you are dead you cannot ask forgiveness for that sin so you do the math.! Okay, first of all, that's a horrible statement. It's like you're saying "If you die and you haven't asked for forgiveness first, then you're going to Hell". Think of all the people who die in, say, a traffic accident and they didn't pray or ask for forgiveness before they sat in their cars and eventually died. Do you think that God will just say "That guy right there, he didn't ask for forgiveness for the sin he committed earlier today. He's going to Hell!" No, I don't think God is that black-and-white about things! He judges things completely differently than we humans do. I once contemplated suicide. I thought about the EXACT same thing: will I go to heaven if I commit suicide? There's no real way to answer that question. But I know that God WANTS you to live, he WANTS you to keep on going. He created you for a reason. I KNOW it sounds really cliché and so on, but it's the truth. I think you should just pray for God to guide you through this and "give you new power", so to speak... God has the power to make bad things good, even in the worst possible situation!
