Im starting practicing with my high school team today, any advice to impress the coach? i want to play third base or outfield hopefully on the jv team.

Ok its not hard on the jv team really just in practice ask to play that positin and show you are good at it. Most jv teams move their players around so you prob won't stay at one position for long.

Just show up to all practices, always do ur best, ask questions to learn more and show him ur interested, and just never give up, talk back, or anything like that.
Basically show commitment and passion for the game

I impress the coaches on tryouts by listening do what they say and helping out, show that i love it and have passion for it..

a good way to impress your coach is by being there on time, always help out, always try your best, dont give up, and pay attention. ooh, and dont give attitude. mrgreen
