Hello everyone. I'm looking for people interested in being part of creating a game from scratch.
I'm currently looking for:
-non-technical people to give me feedback and opinions (ever played a video game? if so you qualify)
-people who good at sketching/drawing and/or graphic designs (the more skilled the better, but I'll take what Anyone has to offer for now)
-people willing to help with game mechanics (skill not an issue at this moment)
Later in the project I will be needing people with more prgoramming skills but as of right now I'm only worried about the game design. everything else can be dealt with once we get to that point.
If you are interested please PM me for details, because I'm not sure how often I will be able to check this thread.

It died from lack of help. No point in creating a game if no one will play the end result. There's many reasons that more than one person designs games. One of them is that if one person is in charge of everything the game is only fun for a few people. If a game is designed by multiple people it may not be perfect, but far more people will enjoy it.

Not really. Most of my stuff usually isn't useful enough to keep. Mostly I've only kept creations that are linked to something like a character for a game. Though I still have my padded wooden weapons that I enjoy using.... Too bad I don't have anyone to play with anymore.
Back to what I was saying though I also have written a few stories (that never got completely finished due to writers block that no one wnted to help me with), written a few small programs, built some neat stuff with legos. The list could go on for quite a while, but most of the things really don't matter other than the fact that I enjoyed doing them.

Simple, I don't have to soften my blows now when beating the crap out of my little sis when we fight. mrgreen Though I did manage to bruise her once when she practically jumped into a particularly heavy blow. Knocked her off her feet when that nailed her solidly on the arm.
She took revenge by beating me upside the head with her weapon as I went to help her up and make sure she was ok.
