1. Alright, here we have the basic water dragon head, notice the fins and streamlined head.
2. Here is a more, serpentine dragon. Remember, if you draw a dragon that uses a forked tongue, DON'T give it nostrils, the tongue replaces that.
3. This is the basic head I use most of the time. It's fairly easy to draw, and can be made to look drastically different by slightly changing the curves behind the nose and under the jaw.
4. Now this one should look familiar to people that have looked at my older deviations, this is the head from my first OC, Lord Augni. As you can see, I have updated it and I removed the helmet.
5. Here you have a apocalyptic, hell dragon. The important thing to remember while drawing these dragons in to NOT give them pupils. Eyes are the windows to the soul, which this dragon doesn't have.
6. Just a random dragon head, not much to say about this one.
7. Another random head.
8. OK, this head is from a dragon I am currently working on. I find that a short snout along with the soulless eyes can help a dragon look more monster like.
9. Here we have a smaller dragon head, perfect for a wyvern or something like that, any small dragon with a bad attitude.
10. Now this is a manga style dragon. The odd thing about them is that you don't want to give them any scales or a different colored underside, just a quick cell shade.
11. This is a random, punk style dragon.
12. Here we have a skeleton dragon head. Not much else to say.
13. This is like cyber dragon, perfect for a story that happens in a digital world or maybe a robot an evil mastermind created to terrorize a city.
14. This is something I see a lot, a dragon with a mammalian ear, I'm not particularly good at drawing them, but you get the idea.
15. Another random head.
16. Random head.
17. This one comes from ~dark-dragon-wings who is way better at dragons with ears. And yes, I got permission to copy the head design.
