a 12-year-old boy in 18th century england who made a contract with a demon, and the demon is now his butler and will one day eat his soul. thats why the translation is "black butler."

its a lot more epic than i'm making it sound.

the anime sucks. it goes in a completely different direction and they dont even touch on the circus part, which is full of epic win.

I loved it it had obvious undertones of shonen ai but other than that it was one hell of a good show. I espically love the ending the ending was Amazing.

I've watched both series of Kuroshitsuji and the ova and now I'm trying to find time to read the manga. It's one of the most awesome series I've seen until now and I recommend it to any mystery lover .. it's also very funny! heart
