I am a freshman going to state!

I got kind of lucky cause we were supposed to have regionals on a saturday like 3 weeks ago. But due to a horrid Ice storm they had to cancel making the teachers choose who to pick to go to state. And me.....a little freshman got to go!

Its tomorrow all day and im super nervous about playing my solo. I thinks it worthy of a 2? I dont know depends on the judge but I think ill so fairly well.

Actually I gots a 3 wich is sad but ya know it is how it is

But also We had a senior flute with us also and she is like super-duper good and she ended up getting a 2!

So Apparently the judge was pretty had in that room. So maybe normally I might have gotten a 2.

But its ok Im gonna try again next year and Im sure thing will turn out much better. Cause now I know how all this works!

Well, you're still a freshman too, [not that I'm any older] and it might not even have to do with the judge, but how much attention the recent band directors gave to teach you to play.
No, i'm not saying you suck.
But this gives me a new idea for a topic.

Oh, so weird. xD Rhode Island is too small to have anything above one solo and ensemble and one round of auditions for all-state. But congratulations! I just had my solo and ensemble festival today and it was bad.

Lol I picked out what I played and i had plenty of time to perfect it. I just got nervous and well i needed a song better suited for me anyway
