I play this game competitively. Not a joke xD. I'm part of a team, & we have our own local league ~
I run Darkrai / Honchcrow, which I guess is a "Rogue Deck" because not than many people can run it successfully.
Anyway, I play because it's actually a challenging game, & when I have children, I hope to teach them, & eventually get them involved in Magic The Gathering. biggrin
Awesme, Pokemon is wat we call the gateway game, it introduces kids to TCG, and they eventually learn other game, example Yu-gi-oh is the first thing kids learn but thats bound to stop soon.
As for me, there isnt a league close by that I know of, though I need to look
