Rules:
1) This event is a semi-tournament-style fight with the bending of a full-scale war. Puppeted NPC's can be used for fodder/filler. If NPC's are being used abusively or excessively, you will be called on it.
2) After 2-6 characters engage in battle, then that particular battle is locked from interference until either the number of victory points are achieved or their battle ends.
3) Victory points are determined by RP'ing skill, thread activity(meaning if you abandon the thread for more than 2 weeks, the opposing side automatically receives a point), and overall continuity, teamwork and flow. When a team reaches the amount of Victory Points to progress to the next zone(each zone is different), then the battles will cease in that area and the war will move on to the next zone where new challenges and battle await.
4) It is up to the captains to choose when the thread is far enough in progress between the 2-6 players in battle to be locked from more players entering.
5) If one side or the other has 3+ players in it, and ZERO opposition, after 1-2 weeks MAX, a victory point will be awarded to that side.
6) Of course heed all guild policies, stay in character as much as possible, and if you needed to be reminded of Gaia Terms of Service, then go tackle Tokushi now and allow him to bite your head off.
7)There are 7 Zones in all, 1 Neutral Zone, 1 Paladin NPC/Home base Zone, 1 Demonic NPC/Home base Zone, 2 Paladin battle zones and 2 Demonic battle zones. After capturing the neutral zone and the 2 battle zones, a team of 1-3 players will attempt to assault either The Grand Theocracy of Light, if you are with the Demons. Or, the Demonic Mastermind, if you are with the Paladins. If that team is defeated, the War resets back to the Neutral Zone and the battles resume.
8 ) STAY ACTIVE! One of the primary methods of gaining victory points is Thread Activity. If you abandon your fight for a week, you are forfeiting and the other team will receive a Victory point.

10) Finally, I will post here whenever there is a change in the war, such as changing zones or if the final fight is drawing close. Check back here regularly for any updates to the rules or the event in general.

EDIT: In order to enter battle, just choose one of the open battlegrounds then include in your arriving post which you are headed towards. As previously stated, up to 3 players may be on one side in a battleground. (i.e. if 3 Paladins are already in a battleground, no more Paladins may enter that particular one.) If we somehow wind up with both battlegrounds being full and active, I will designate more.
