Do you like watching subbed, or dubbed anime? Personally I prefer mine dubbed, when I watch anime, I want to watch it, not read it.

Subbed, and occasionally scanned, only when I NEED to know what happens next

I prefer subbed because sometimes the voices just get too annoying, when I watch the Japanese first of animes then when I see them in english it just kills everything.

SUBBED.
Simply because sometimes when they dub, the words aren't right. n-n; That and I think the english voices get annoying.
And You hardly have to read. Well, I don't hardly. Because I watch what their doing and the subtitles at the same time.
Most of the time you can tell what they're saying just by watching what they're doing. xD;
Butttt if an anime is on TV and is dubbed, i'll watch it. But I PREFER subbed. :3

Personally, I like both. I enjoy watching things in Japanese because you can get the true flavor of it, but it's also fun to be able to understand what they're saying without looking up and down every second. Seriously, I'll watch it in Japanese then watch it in english because sometimes it's just too much fun to compare and contrast.

Sub comes most naturally to me. Its good because then the people around me dont understand what the characters are talking about. biggrin Subs also come quicker than dubs. And only Adult Swim gives us shows with good dubs.

i prefer sub overall, usaully they screw up the voices in dub and beside the only two dubbed that i like was dbz and outlaw star

I prefer the dub, because I enjoy enjoying things in my own language. Of course, I will watch a sub if they isn't a dub yet or the dub is just too atrocious (which hasn't really ever happened, since I'm not as picky as many anime fans as far as voice acting goes).
Also, I just love to spite Purists of all sorts, even in Anime.

I like dubbed for certain ones. Like watching Helsing (RAW version on youtube, cuz I'm a cheap b*****d xd ). I'm sorry, but Japanese voices just don't cut it. It's freaking England, and I want to hear that English accent. I love Fr. Anderson's Scottish ******** amazing.
