Just wondered if I coould manage of a game of werewolf here. For those who've never played before, or are unawares of internet variations in rules:
(Also called Mafia, more commonly irl, but I figured werewolves were more suitable in a steampunk setting.)
1. Everyone is a villager.
2. Some (how many depends on players) people are also werewolves. Only the werewolves know who each other are*.
3. Each night (one irl week, or so, is one in game day - the weekend is the night. Once people get in the hang of it, this may speed up, but not by much), the werewolves decided amongst themselves who to kill).
4. In the morning (monday), I announce who is dead. They take no further part in this game
5. For the rest of the week, all villagers (remember, that includes the werewolves) discuss amongst themselves who they think the werewolves are.
6. At the end of the week, villagers vote who to lynch. The player with most votes is lynched, and is dead. They take no further part in this game.
7. Reapeat from 4 untill all players on one side are dead. Those remaining on the other side are victors.
Further details on gameplay when people have expressed interest, and I can guage numbers. If anyone has played this online before (I really only have irl experience) can advise I would appreciate that, particularly in terms of the timing.
I also plan for a scoring system to be put into place, whereby surving members of the winners get 2 points, deceased members 1 point. Something like that, not for much of course, just to distinguish the canny players.
Now please show your interest!
*No spy as they can cheat too easily on a forum.
