Ok last night in my Countdown Announcement Thread, another member pointed out that they received an automated message from their reserve store (Gamestop) telling them that LBP will becoming out today October 25, 2008.

I checked my own phone messages and received the same message.

The message went like this


Now I called Gamestop this morning (around noonish for me) and asked about the message. The clerk said that the message could be a automated reminder since the game was delayed and the release date is coming up. He also added that they were going to personally (from the store) call all the people who reserved the game to tell them they arrived.

The only thing that has me puzzled about this situation is the "afternoon" part in the automated message. Normally when I get a message like that its just says "tomorrow" or the date of the games release.

I'm going to call again today to see whats what.
If anybody is in this situation and actually got their game post here.

PS. I read on the Official LBP blog site, that the game was shipping the 28th (probably early) and that people in the US closest the shipping location (basically England) would receive the game first. I live in New York so I may get the game faster than some.

Note: This is only for people with pre-orders. If you do not have the game pre-ordered, you have to wait for the release date.

I got it too, 3nodding The game's awesome... I had to deal with some difficulties (playing with a friend who I fight a lot with about little stuff)
But now that I'm alone it rocks even more xd
