Okay, I'm not sure if you've seen this on the Harry Potter subforum or not so I'll explain.
Each person will give the option of two couples. You have to choose one or the other and (here's a slight difference) give a reason for your choice.
Basically, in each post you will pick one of the couples above you, give a reason why, and then suggest two new couples for the person below you to chose from.
FIRST POST:
Regulus/Sirius or James/Harry

Mmm, incest on the first go-round! 3nodding That's certainly one way to kick things off. I'll give it a shot!
I pick Regulus/Sirius for two reasons: one, both people were alive at the same time for a longer time than James and Harry; and two, for some reason, sibling incest does not squick me as much as parent/child incest (but it is only a slight difference). I have no clue. neutral If number one didn't apply (such as an AU setting where James didn't die), I'd probably still pick Regulus/Sirius if only for the second reason.
Of course, neither pairing interests me, so... *shrug*
So then! Carrying with the slashy theme, Harry/Ron, or Hermione/Ginny?

Oh, oops. I choose Hermione/Ginny. I think Hermione/Ginny actually makes a nice slash pairing. I think they would balance each other out more that Harry/Ron. xP
Buckbeak/Hagrid or Buckbeak/Sirius?

Animal stuff eh? Well, I'm going with Buckbeak/Sirius simply because Sirius can at least become an animal and that makes it slightly...well not better...more plausable?
Hermione/Harry or Hermione/Ginny?

Hermione/Ginny. Just because I think it still has a shot in the books, and it's femslash, which Ernie heart 's Also, it seems more plausible than Hermione/Harry. Harry and Hermione seem to have more of a relationship like Ed and Winry in FMA--brother-sister love more than romantic or sexual.
Draco/Hermione or Draco/Harry?

[Ernie] Hermione/Ginny. Draco/Hermione, because I could so see him turning into a pureblood hypocrite. I couldn't see him getting over his hatred of Harry. Also, it could be argued that he pays Hermione a little too much attention for a "filthy mudblood." EDIT: Oops, I forgot to put up a new couple. sweatdrop Um, Dumbledore/McGonagall or Riddle/McGonagall?

Dumbledore/Mcgonagall because it would so rock for Dumby to have someone to love, and uptight Proffessor Mcgonagall could let her hair done *wink*. I always thought they would make a nice couple, especially how Minerva admires Dumbles yet hates the sherbet lemons.
Harry/Ginny or Hermione/Ron.

Arrgg... I hate both;.; But I think I'll have to say Harry/Ginny because up untill the HBP I would have considered it the next best thing. Partly because we Ginny and Harry actually get along very well and always have and teir personalities complement eachother... and partly because childhood crushes are cute sweatdrop
Mmkay... EDIT: Lily/James or Molly/Arthur?

Oi...people update before I can do something...Molly/Arthur because well, James was a prat and I don't like prats...I like Molly and Arthur, they're fun...especially with the questions...aeroplanes. *chuckles*
hmmm...

Remus/Sirius. Not only is there more supporting it, but Sirius is the one who always helped Remus out. Severus told about the whole werewolf thing and made him leave his teaching position. Also, they balance each other out nicely. Remus, the calm, quiet one, and Sirius, the loud, energetic one.
Um...Harry/Luna or Neville/Luna?
Edit: Oops sweatdrop . Probably Harry/Myrtle, just because I can't see Draco being in a relationship in which he doesn't get some.
Still Harry/Luna or Neville/Luna.

Harry/Luna because she's the only girl I want Harry to ever get with simply because she was the one that comforted Harry after Sirius' demise...also, he did invite her to Slughorn's party. blaugh
Sirius/Minvera or Severus/Minerva? *notices a theme in his couples*

Muahaha! Harry/Luna heart This pairing is now my only hope... that maybe, just maybe, Harry will be with Luna instead of Ginny (and if you disagree... please don't tell me so gonk ). Because not only is Luna a great character that would definately be worth Harry's attention, but it also strikes me how many times during books five and six it mentions that Harry is getting more used to her oddness. I also think Luna would help Harry become less of a jerk.
EDIT: Aw crap. Ok, Sirius/Minerva. Mostly because I highly dislike Snape... but I guess that Sirius and McGonagall would make an interesting couple, what with McGonagall being all strict and Sirius being so laid-backXD
How about... Narcissa/Lucius or Lucius/Snape?
