First impressions. Nark's perspective only.

Barber shop: If it's added to Silvermoon and not Thunder Bluff, imma go John Woo on someone's candy-a**. If the status quo prevails - Org/UC only - no problem!

It's not all that noticeable on female tauren, sadly; but hey, it's an achievement.

Inscribing: The druid glyphs, by and large, are not yet discovered; Rebirth is cheap, and who can argue with me battle-rezzing for 6400hp?

HP display on everything: That kinda surprises me, actually; but knowing that all those level 75 guards have 15956hp or whatever... can't hurt. Much.

Typhoon: Blizz's druid team has been playing too much Star Wars, because I feel like a freaking Jedi, force-pushing stuff around. Not too expensive given its 20 second cooldown. Nasty potential applications in PvP, such as stealth-attacking (or stealth-defending!) LM. It's fun, and visually it reminds me of Kirby using the platform games' default puff attack. In a 36x4 yard frontal area. With hilarious knockback effects.

Chain Cane: Not nearly as useful in PvP, and would really help paired with a healer; but combining Barkskin (or Owlkin Frenzy) with clearcasted Hurricanes is impressive. A fairly sustainable (though luck-limited) AOE, for potentially no mana cost. Not useful in PvP due to Cane being channelled.

Owlkin Frenzy: Sound effect is hilarious. Effect is undeniably beast.

For Massive Damage: My gear isn't GOOD yet (1002 SP in currently optimal hit gear) but as much as my jaw dropped at seeing 4700+ in Stratholme before the patch, I hit that fairly consistently now. Current record is a touch over 5300, on a level 70 practice dummy.

No More Main Heals: On the other hand, my healing effectiveness is a pale shadow of what it was. But hey, I'm a boomchicken, healing is supposed to be secondary for me!

Achievements: CURSE. OF. ONE. In three cases (Zangarmarsh, Nagrand, Shadowmoon) I missed the questing achievement by one. Old world is much sadder, and I'll have to aggressively pursue those.

As for Narkenian the Explorer, needs Northrend. But it will happen. You bloody well know it.

Editing: It's now 6300, in Stratholme. Same gear, but full-on buffs of OKF, trinket and Lunar Grace. Hurricane is showing 800-damage crits, and that's not even buffed by Gale Winds!

Perspective: Kass.

I've only tested on dummies so far, but 1600+ Shield Slam crits (and Sword and Board to eliminate cooldowns) seem pretty good. For whatever reason, though, Shockwave is hitting for ONLY 2/3 of tooltip. Expected should have been at least 90% of tooltip. On-demand prot-stance Charges are certainly good. Vigilance... I'm not sure how I'd use this yet, pro'ly on highest-threat DPS.

Perspective: Karhujen.

Since I'd built him as a healer before, he naturally got butchered the changes - and it was rather depressing, even going Elemental: struggling to put down 2500 CL crits... buffed. Even PvP had me considering character deletion... and then I chased a warlock with twice my meager 6826 health into Frostwolf. And solo'd her.

Then I had to defend RH... alone... against a paladin. The paladin needed help to finish me, and if not for standard pallycheese might not have even survived! Then we got about 6-7 recalls going, once we realised how close it would be, and sealed the deal.

My gear is the contemptible "quest greens and blues," with minimal rep PvP and S2 shoulders; and characters 20 levels below me COULD have higher than my unbuffed 476 SP. But... it has potential. I'm almost - almost! - holding my own against opponents against whom I numerically have no prayer... and even taking a few down with me.

They did something to CL's cooldown, though: either my LB's are slow as hell, or CL is faster - it felt like CL was coming up after one LB and half of a second LB's casting.

Thunderstorm... seems bugged. Sometimes it won't throw people (a draenei shaman ignored the throw effect - perhaps it has a miss chance independent of damage?) but when it works... it too is hilarious.

Standard buff totems are five minutes, I see. This can't be a bad thing. Wrath / Windfury / SOE (or SS) / Mana Spring. Nice totem array.

Since you have Thunderstorm, you also have Storm, Earth, and Fire talent before it. The talent reduces your Chain Lightning cooldown by a total of 2.5 seconds.

Thunderstorm does not knock people back if they're stunned or rooted. The spell might also be considered as a 2 roll system for damage and effect. First you roll to see if the spell hits. If it does, then you roll to see if the knockback hits. That seems to be how it's set up, anyway.

As for Glyphs, I'm still planning on leveling Iaqazl as an inscribe. So, if you wanna throw me some herbs, I'll do my best to find what you're looking for. :P
