What kind of ideas do you think you're gonna try when you do finally get the game?
Do you think you'll dive right in and try to make a large level, or do you think you'll start out small and test out the tools?
Got any specific theme ideas?

Been thinking about this for a while. I'm defently gonna have a proper poke around all the tool sets, even with exseperiance on UT and Hammer I'm not stupid enough to dive right in.
As for level ideas, I'm gonna start small have a poke round some of my old ps1 games and such see if i can recreate levels. If I've got time after that I'd like to write out some proper Deign Doucmentation for the levels then build them up.

I think I might turn back farther, to 8-bit type days and try to re-create some of that stuff. Some of the Super Mario. Bros worlds might not be too hard to recreate. That way I have a model and I can familiarize myself with the tools.

i realy hope you can import your own models into lbpas well as custom textures, that would give me such a kick up the bum to get back into modeling again.

Have they said how extensive the importing is for the game? I know they said you could import images from your Playstation 3 and use them as stickers and stuff. I'm not sure if they've said anything beyond that.

I plan on doing nothing when the game starts, I'm going to go through all the pre-made levels, gather as much building material and outfits as I can. Play a few high ranked player-made levels, watch all the tutorials and finally make a level with everything I've learned and gathered.

lol, could you imagine if some crazy person made some epic level that took a solid 5-6 hours to complete? That would be either amazing or really lame. I would like to design a verticle maze or something like that. I think it would be cool. Also, I think someone should make a level inspired by something like _____________ (details later I just had a mental block)

Also look up the Shadow of Colossus level made on the Beta, that was made in the coarse of I think they said 24 hour straight.

I don't think anything at all like a 5 or 6 hour game could be done in terms of size. Maybe in complexity of puzzles and things, but even then it's a huge huge stretch.

I already made my first level and second but my first one was learning tools, so it needs work when it actualy releases, and my second for details with new items, because I was limited, and don't like limits... stare

I think I've decided that when I get good enough and get enough materials, I'm going to attempt a Nightmare Before Christmas themed level.
