~Elemental~ This is mostly PVP focused.
Overall, this seems like a decent tree. It isn't a great tree, but it might be better in Wrath when Lava Burst is available. I must say, however, that Thunderstorm is fun. Especially in the case of PVP. Lumber Mill defense or the AV Dun Baldar bridge = LOTS OF FUN. So many times already today, I've launched people off and caused them to die. It was fun. Aside from that...I really can't say much for this. It's fun...but not highly damaging. At all.

This'll just have what was in the first post for now. I'll write the rest later. If only someone, aside from TK, could've seen those numbers I was getting on that test dummy. ...Not Yawgie. An actual test dummy they've implemented into the game. Quote: One of the new talents for Enhancement shamans is Lava Lash. Quote: You charge your off-hand weapon with lava, instantly dealing 100% off-hand Weapon damage. Damage is increased by 25% if your off-hand weapon is enchanted with Flametongue. 4% base mana 6 second cooldown Instant cast Now then. Let's take some average numbers here. My average offhand weapon hits for 290 with 425 Windfury hits. My average Flametongue hit is right around 180, this number doesn't change whether it's on the offhand or the main hand. Finally, getting a windfury attack on the offhand is actually more of a DPS loss than a DPS increase. It will be listed that way below. At current, the numbers are 290 melee hit and a possible 425 OH windfury. Using Lava Lash results in 580 melee hit and a -425 OH windfury. Using Lava Lash and Flametongue gives the results of 725 melee hit and a 180 Flametongue hit. As partially explained above, the -425 OH windfury is because of the net loss of windfury damage. You hit for 425 with the OH windfury, however, you just stole 850 damage from your main hand. Thus, it's a net loss of 425 damage. Since Lava Lash is an instant offhand attack, it -can- result in a windfury proc, which will place it on the 3 second internal cooldown as well as stealing DPS from the main hand. As a final note, since Lava Lash is based on weapon damage and Flametongue is based on weapon speed, it would make sense that it would still be beneficiary to the shaman to use the slow/slow setup, instead of thinking this is his chance to use a slow/fast setup. If anyone here sees a screwup in my thinking, feel free to post. But until the downloader finishes, all I have are my thoughts. P:< Also, just to have fun with it, from my calculations and after a proper regemming and re-enchanting, I should have right around 1819 AP when this patch rolls around. That's unbuffed, at that. With all the buffs going... 660 from procs. Another 240 from dual Mongoose. Another 192 from a totem. That's 2911. Add Unleashed Rage: 3202. And that's just from my buffs. : D

Restoration
Even though I haven't even touched Elemental, and I've yet to fully bring out Enhancement since I'm not properly gemmed or enchanted for the change in stats, I am the most displeased with this spec in 3.0. We went from being very strong healers to being near nothing. All with the removal of downranking.
Yawg got to see this for himself. I specced Resto and healed him for a bit. I lasted, what, 2 minutes? Straight casting...and maybe 2 minutes. On Live, I can last almost indefinitely with straight casting my normal spells (CH1, HW6). And, to top that off, on Live I don't often use Mana Potions...on the PTR for that testing, I did. I still ran out of mana stupidly fast. I can't say that we got nothing to make up for the removal of downranking, but seeing how horrible that talent really is, it's not too far off from being nothing. It's a rejected version of the Paladin's mana return on critical heals. Except! It eats Water Shield AND doesn't proc off of Chain Heal. The problem with it eating Water Shield is the same exact problem of when Water Shield was a 1 minute duration. It was changed to a 10 minute duration to help out Elemental and Resto shamans so they wouldn't have to rebuff that in the middle of DPSing or healing (as it's already annoying enough to have to rotate totems). Now, with a decent amount of crit chance, it's not unlikely to have 3 crits in well under a minute. So, what, are we going to be recasting Water Shield every 30 seconds? About 690-700 mana (at 70 and with the Enhancement talent, Improved Shields) restored, but the buff has to be recast every 30 seconds to a minute...Mmm, no, sorry. Not something I feel like doing.
On another point is the focus of the tree. Healing Wave and Lesser Healing Wave were never really our focus. And any shaman who rolled Resto to make that their focus were stupid as all hell anyway. :D Chain Heal was our staple move. Even though other classes had AoE heals, ours was always the best. So...why does it seem like so little in the tree even effects Chain Heal? If the main goal now is to make resto shamans heal with LHW and HW, why even play a Resto at all? I can play Big Heal and Little Heal with a paladin or priest all day long. Why should I bother with Resto? In fact, I can play that game with paladins and priests and have better mana longevity. Priests have a lot more AoE heals and Lightwell is finally looking viable, and they get Serendipity and Holy Concentration to make up for the loss of downranking. Paladins have a mana free, large instant heal that also restores mana to the target; Holy Shock (which looks pretty decent now); Beacon of Light; and very mana efficient heals when considering the synergy between Illumination and Divine Illumination (getting back more mana than was spent). So, again I ask, what is the point of a Resto shaman? If it's to drop caster totems, an Elemental shaman can do that just fine. If it's solely for Mana Tide, people can learn to live with out it, as that is no reason to force a shaman to go into a useless tree just to get a single useful talent. The days of vanilla WoW have been over for a long time now.
I'm certainly hoping there won't be any encountres that would be "simplified" with a Resto shaman in the fight, like there were in BC with Hyjal and BT. Some of these changes for Resto are completely killing, and I think I'll be sticking to Enhancement for a while (which, aside from the slight mana issues, I'm enjoying greatly).
Here's hoping some Devs look into the issues of Restoration for Shamans, because at current, this may very well remove whatever's left of us.
