Okay, someone please tell me why they keep remaking movies and making sequels to movies that shouldn't have sequels?
Take for instance, Charlie and the Chocolate factory. It was EPIC in its original form. it was PERFECT! One shouldn't mess with perfection. Granted the remake wasn't a bad movie, it still FAILED in comparison to the original; it was just too dark.
Another good example is the new "Little Mermaid" movie. WHY do they need to make a sequel to that? What happened to "and they lived happily ever after, THE END" The most important words are THE END. That means its over. She's happy, he's happy, they're happy together, so that's where it needs to end. There's no need to go revisiting my childhood just to make a few bucks.

You forgot about the HORRIBLE TERROR of 4Kids TV. I'm gonna puke here and now... BLEHHH.... Why remake all those great animes into toatal crap?! What's the fun in it? Cartoon Network is okay with it, but still...

The sequels that shouldn't have been made in my opinion would have to Lion King 1/2 and the second Lion king.. also Mulan 2.. It's like thinking lay off the Disney sequels..
