Yoshi's Island Me and princess_yoshi decided to make a Yoshi Island themed RP. So yeah ,here it is. The base to this RP is a storyline created by myself and princess_yoshi. It will be centered around the island and it's "invasion" led by Bowser Jr. Other plots may come into action. For now, we'll be sticking with the one we have now. Rules
o1. The number one rule, and the most important one, is to follow the Gaia ToS.
o2. Literacy; we are all intelegent human beings, so please type as if you are one. Remember, punctuation and capitalization are you friend.
o3. Everything must be kept PG-13. I don't think that needs further explanation.
o4. Don't bump here. It's not allowed, at all, seriously.
o5. Godmoding is not acceptable and it never will be, don't do it. I'll warn you the first time, but after that it's to the blacklist with you.
o6. Speaking must be in quotations and actions cannot be put in between -'s and *'s.
o7. Suggestions are encouraged and always appreciated, don't be afraid to give any.
o8. Please be active as possible, especially if you're taking the role of a canon character. If not, that role will once again become open.
o9. Romance is not prohibited, but remember, keep it PG-13.
1o. If there is a canon character that you want to take up the role of, but it's not one the list, please request it and you can have the role.

Story Peace has been kept on the island for many years. Princess Yoshi and her father King Boshi continue to rule justly over the island and it's residents. Yoshi has finally returned to his home, along with Birdo, from the Mushroom Kingdom. When all seemed to be well, Bowser Jr. came to the island in hope of making it his base. Along with Kamek, Wizardhimmer, and his immense army, he has come to turn Yoshi Island to his own personal base and to hopefully further impress his father, Bowser.

Canon Protagonists
 Yoshi:
The cheerful green dinosaur, Yoshi, has finally returned to his home. He is just arriving back from the Mushroom Kingdom after concluding an adventure with Mario, his long time ally. He is awaiting Birdo at the island, but in the meanwhile he has other errands to fulfill. Keeping an eye on the new hatchlings, watching eggs that haven't hatched yet, gathering fruit for himself and Birdo etc etc. Yoshi has saved his brethren on many occasions from attacks on the island. Hopefully the upcoming invasion won't be a problem for him. Only time will tell.
Abilites; eating/swallowing almost anything, transforming enemies he eats into eggs, transforming things he eats into other objects, use blue koopa shells to grow wings and breath fire, using red koopa shells to breath fire, launching green koopa shells that he previously has in his mouth at enemies, flutter jumping, ground pounding.

 Luigi:
Usually fight alongside his brother Mario, he is deciding to take a break for once. A vacation to Dinosaur Land. Hopefully, much more peaceful than the last. Preferably to spend time with his friend Yoshi. And with him his he brought his trusty Poltergust 3000, just in case he encountered any Boos. Although Luigi is considered the more cowardly one the Mario Bros., in a comical sense, he's quite the fighter.
Abilites; shooting fireballs from his hands, harness and release electricity(thunderhand), become invisible and walk through enemies w/ power flower, flutter jump etc.

Professor E. Gadd:
The scientist and all time ghost enthusiast is taking a visit to Dinosaur Land. Unlike Luigi, he isn't there to relax. Professor E. Gadd is going to Dinosaur Land to learn more about the Boos that inhabit the haunted houses scattered through it. So he's now leaving his lab in the Boo Woods to get a new side of paranormal beings. Along with himself, the Professor is bringing many of his experiments. Among them, he is bring his; Ghost Portrificationizer, Poltergust 3000, Super Polturgust 3001 and Stufwell.
Abilities; inventing complicated devices.
Birdo:
The female dinosaur, Birdo, has relocated from Nimbus to Yoshi's Island. As known to the rest of the island, Yoshi and Birdo are now a couple. She is arriving at the island via Warp Pipe to hopefully live with Yoshi and among the other residents of the island. Little does she know that an invasion will soon occur. Although, Birdo is no softie. Observing strong physical quality, a couple of baddies will be absolutely no problem for her.
Abilites; shooting eggs, shooting fireballs, using it's snout as a sort of vacuum, enveloping herself and others in eggs, and heart based attacks. (similar to those of peach, except less effective.)
Non-Canon Protagonists
Princess Yoshi:
A long time ago, The Happy Tree sadly passed away. Before he did, he entrusted Boshi with a Yoshi Egg. That egg would soon hatch into what would be known as Princess Yoshi. King Boshi was to keep her safe and watch over. Princess Yoshi would then be the new "pillar" of the island.

King Boshi:
Hello there, My Name is Boshi...I first appeared in the game Mario RPG legend of
the seven stars if some of you may recall. I was a leader on the once Yo-ster-isle. that is now known as Yoshi's Island. The Island has come quite a long way from what it use to be.
The Land was created by The Supper happy tree, a pillar of the Yoshi's world that if taken away the Island would surely crumble..The day of our Tree's death came closer and closer every passing day till one day he called upon me....He asked me to take care of the Island and become its king! can you believe it! a King! Well with his Powers he created a Castle that I now live in, also with the last of his powers He created a Yoshi egg, he said that the child with in that egg would be blessed with the spiritual powers he had and would become the new pillar of our Island. He asked me to take care of the Child.
That child is now known as Princess_Yoshi, She's like the daughter i never had, even if she isn't of the Yoshi race....Its been a couple years since the tree died and she's grown up now, to a young teenager. The Yoshi's of the Island just love her and are so attached...She thinks im her father as well...but I'm the only one who knows that her true father was The super happy tree.

Canon Antogonists Bowser Jr.:
Bowser eighth child and most favored is up to no good, as usual. This time his target is Dinosaur Island, and his starting with Yoshi's Island. Little Bowser Jr. wants to be just like his dad, King Koopa; Bowser. So he wants to turn all of Dinosaur Land into his kingdom. Will he succeed or will his plans be thwarted once again.
Abilities; building complicated machines.
( PLAYED BY GAMEOVR. ) Kamek:
Kamek, or sometimes nicknamed Fang, is and old powerful Magikoopa whom is the apparent adviser to Bowser. When Kamek learned that Bowser Jr. would be venturing of to Dinosaur Land to reek havoc, he forced himself to follow. Kamek owns a library and is able to build complicated machines, hence he seems to be well edcuated.
Abilities; short range teleportation, creating beings from in-animate objects, pyrokinesis, creating dopplegangers of himself, shooting magical blasts from his wand, shrink and grow other characters, divination, brainwashing, foreseeing future events, and manipulating objects with his mind.
King Boo:
The leader of the Boos, King Boo himself, is taking a vacation to Yoshi's Island. Finally, he will be away from that pesky Luigi. Living amongst his kind, the Boos, where he cannot be bothered. Probably on a long stay at his Boo Manor. Little does he know, his long time ally's son, is also venturing to the peaceful island to reek havoc.
Abilities; possessing abilities of other boos, teleport, power increase when around other boos, materialize things from thin air, create boos, create projectile bubbles, create blue fire.

Gender: Male
Age: Fairly young.
Appearance: Unlike other regular Boo's, Goo is lime green instead of the normal color of white. Goo has other differences besides his general body color. He has purple shadows around his eyes, and a long purple tongue, unlike the regular pink that other Boo's display. His other features such as his mouth, eyes, fangs, arms and tail have the appearance that the typical Boo would have.
Species: Boo
Origin/Bio: He dwells in the Ghost House closest to Yoshi's Island. At night time he enjoys leaving the Ghost House, that is his home, to scare the residents of Yoshi Island. Goo's name is a combination of Boo and Green. A reference to the color that he is. Because of his unusual appearance and constant personality changes, he is often picked on by other Boo's. He is usually perceives himself to be a Boo who has been driven insane, constantly laughing and spinning around. He has a very bad temper, and a higher pitched laugh than most Boo's of his kind do. He has no friends whatsoever, but he's all time hero is King Boo. His dream is to one day become a powerful Boo just like him.
Powers/Abilites: disappearing and appearing into thin air, traveling through walls and other objects, taking over inanimate objects, making his eyes glow, invisibility, and short distance teleporting.

Dinosaur Land Map. This is here to be helpful to everyone in the RP. If you need to know where the Ghost Houses are, just look right here. The RP is currently taking place on Yoshi's Island, but characters can venture off into different parts of Dinosaur Land as well. Hopefully, the plot will move throughout Dinosaur Land.
