THE HISTORY:This roleplay has been going on for a LONG time, so I will post the history of the roleplay here, to keep tabs and looking back on it for reference, or for those of you interested in reading it!The skies were dreadful and gloomy as the princess keeled in upon her balcony the rain drenching through her light pink dress, her hair flat, soggy and crownless, her makeup smudged as her eyes poured just as much water as the rain clouds. It was odd for the princess to be in such a downer mood, usually she was rather cheerful and pleasant. What has suddenly brought her new sense of emotion?
Suddenly she stopped sobbing and whipped her head upwards towards the balcony door. "
Please, King Boo!" She cried as the slightly transparent beast immersed from the shadows. "
I need my crown to be the Princess of my kingdom, without my crown.." She stopped for a moment to start to sob once more, she lifted her gloved hands to her face and allowed the salty liquid run from her beautiful blue eyes.
The Mushroom kingdom was usually a happy place, the skies clean, the air warm and breezy. For most of the time, Princess Peach Toadstool, the princess and ruler of the kingdom was joyous and filled with glee, the weather usually reflected on her emotions, for the last two days the skies have been clouded over not allowing any sun to find its way into the kingdom. The heavy rain had started to flood the kingdom, and it’s mushroom inhabitants were starting to get worried.
A small Toad ran towards the palace to find it a little less peaceful and pretty than normal. All the castle’s windows have been boarded up, the draw bridge pulled up and boarded shut as well.
"
Ohh my!" The little critter screamed!
The monster had cackled insanely. Finally he had something just as good as his old crown sitting on top of his head. It was very noticeable that it in fact, wasn't his crown though, because his had a giant red ruby in the center. As another lightning bolt had striked outside rather loudly, the monster cackled again, opening its large mouth and let its humongous tongue out of its mouth. The large tongue pressed against Peach's dress, licking all the way up her face and over her gloved hands. Yes, he could taste the tears. They were so satisfying. Fright and sorrow kept the boos going! The monster flailed his tongue harmlessly about before withdrawing it into his mouth again. "
Yesss... the tears taste wonderful! This crown is mine now, Peach! I guess that means I am the KING of Mushroom Kingdom!" The entire castle had been infested with lesser boos that floated up and down the halls.
The Princess’s eyes continued to sob as the creatures tongue trailed up her face. She made a rather disappointing attempt to slap the boo, but her hand passed through his cold ghastly body. "
You’re a horrid thing!" She cried out as she pushed herself against the rails of the balcony to get as far away as possibly from the disgusting creature. She reached down to peel off one of her wet pink heels and tossed it towards the boo. "
Leave me alone!" She then allowed her head to fall into her grip once more, continuing her crying fit. She was afraid that her kingdom was doomed. That she was never going to be free again.. Were was Mario when she needed him? She looked at the beast straight in the eyes and stared him down like he was a helpless child. "
Once Mario finds you, your good as dead!" She hoped in the least that this one scare him slightly. She sat in the rain in her own sorrow, waiting for someone to come rescue her as normal.
Her feeble attempts to harm him. Her empty threats. His cackle changed to a full blown laugh. The princess was always very interesting but he never had his chance to kidnap her because Bowser would always get there. But looked like the king of boos himself decided to capture her. "
Horrid? It must be because I look like an amorphous blob of ectoplasm. Mario won't be here to save you! I'll make sure he doesn't even get into the castle!" Little did he know that Mario and Luigi were both actually on their way to the castle. The boo floated out into the rain after the princess, some drops passing right through him while others somehow landed on him. "
I guess I scare you? DO I!? Then.. I have something for you." The boo had begun to curl up into a ball which was beginning to shrink and form a strange shape. He was obviously undergoing some sort of transformation.
She was not shocked to hear laughter come from the monsters mouth, in fact she was slightly expecting it. She still couldn’t help but feel empty, helpless and harmless. She stopped sobbing and watched the creature transform. What kind of dirty tricks did he have up his sleeves. She had not idea what to expect at all.. This was a first for her, she had never really felt threatened by the Boos, but now she knew that she was in some enormous trouble. "
No, I’m afraid of you because your appearance is revolting, your rude, un-charming and just plain ugly!" She crossed her arms and stared into the mushroom kingdom hoping that she could one day be it’s princess once more. She turned around towards the king as he morphed. "
What do you mean you have something for me?" she stopped as her hands flew up from her sides towards her mouth. "
Your not going to hurt me are you?" her eyes began to water once again.
The creature continued to warp slowly before taking on a humanoid shape, but it was completely foggy and white. However, soon, the foggy ectoplasm shifted into skin. Slightly bronzed skin. A humanoid stood before her now. He looked as though he were royalty too and wore large golden bracelets around both of his wrists. He wore a black vest with golden seems and a golden trim, as well as a pair of formal looking white pants. However, he wore no shoes. There was something rather comical about him though. He had large, poofy white, cloudy hair. It looked so soft and huggable and the rain didn't seem to effect it. "
Hurt you? Come now, I'm not a heathen. What would I gain from hurting you?" There really was no reason to hurt her. He had what he wanted. The crown, which sat atop the fluffy mound of hair. He had a faint grin, showing off a pair of fangs that all boos had. It was definitely still king boo all right. "
Look at me now." He looked down at his own body. He thought he did a rather impressive job, unlike this one time he was a toad.
She turned vastly to the once ghastly creature and gasped. "
What a handsome man!" She thought to her self her cheeks turned rouge. She wasn’t used to such a fine looking male, mostly acquainted with short, plump, plumbers and mushroom men. His hair was a bit odd, but then again so was hers. "
Your not fooling me!" She screamed at the king, her with her eyes closed and cheeked reddened. "
I must remember that this is still King Boo.. No matter how attractive he may make him self appear." She nodded to her own thought and turned her head away from the man.
He moved his hands up above his head, putting them on the sides of his crown and shifting it so it was directly on top of the cloudy soft mound of hair. When she screamed at her he put his hand to his chin. She was a tough cookie. This still wouldn't make him resort to violence though. After a moment of thinking, he walked over right in front of the princess and snapped his fingers. Boos had seemingly formed out of nowhere, gathering over her head and forming a sort of protective shield to protect her from the rain. "
I'm not trying to trick you." He took her hand gently before starting to lead her into the castle again, the boos floating over her head to keep more rain from falling onto her. "
Lets talk inside."
Her eyes glittered with the light as the handsome man lead her into the castle. "
Could I have been wrong about him?" She questioned. "
He seems so charming, not even close to the beast that stole my crown and licked up my tears.." She paused as she thought to herself. "
But he is still the same creature deep down?" She was rather confusing herself. "
Yes.. I’m rather soaked.. and cold.. Thank you.." she replied to the king as she eyed her crown as the paced off the balcony. As soon as the entered the skies began to clear, the rain stopped, and the sun was allowed to dry up all the flooding that was created by her sorrow.
The man had lead her all the way into her throne room before stopping, letting go of her hand and turning to face her. His hands were behind his back and he slowly took a step back from her, his bare feet pressing gently against the fine fabric of the red carpet. "
Go ahead. You can dry yourself off and get a change of clothes in your room. I'm sure you won't be able to escape to please.. make yourself at home.." He knew he'd have to say this because she wasn't treating her home like it was her actual home because it was taken over by boos instead of toads. It was basically HIS castle until the brothers found a way in. He folded his arms over his chest shortly afterward. Like Bowser, he was starting to find the princess a bit attractive. But he knew he couldn't let that get into the way of his conquest. What if she devised a plan to steal her crown back.
She was almost shocked on how polite the King was being, had he turned over a new leaf? She smiled at the stranger and nodded. "
Thank you." She wasn’t sure what to think, in fact she was starting to enjoy the company, she didn’t feel so burdened with the whole kingdom in her hands. She actually felt.. Safe? "
Odd to feel safe when your kidnapped, huh?" She thought to herself. But it was a bit of a change. The only thing she missed was her toads. They would help dress her, cook her meals, and clean up around the castle. Still very confused the Princess spoke. "
King Boo.. Uhh.. I know I shouldn’t speak.. Being your prisoner but may I ask a favor?" She was slightly nervous. "
I can’t see in the castle very well, with the windows boarded up, perhaps you could light some candles and maybe perhaps.. Have a boo assist me to my room to help me change?" She felt awkward asking for such a large request. "
And.. I haven’t had anything to eat in the last couple days.."
"
Hmm..." Staring at the princess, he put one of his hands to his chin. He knew his boo buddies wouldn't like the sun very much, which was why he boarded up the windows. This was a very hard request to grant. And she may have been able to jump out of one of the windows to safety. He took his hand off of his chin. "
Yes I can..." He said in an unsure tone. He really didn't know what would be the wisest choice. Well, she did ask for a favor and she was the princess. But then again, she was also his prisoner! "
I'll fetch you something to eat, though." With a snap of his fingers, two boos raised up from the ground in front of him. He pointed in the direction of the kitchen. "
You. Go fix her something suitable for living people to eat. You. Assist her in her room." The two boos nodded. One of the boos were a reddish in color, which was a boo buddy. That was the one he ordered to help her in her room. His name was Treant.
The princess smiled as she headed towards her room. Before she headed out of sight she turned around to the king and smiled. "
Thank you!" She said before her cheeks turned red. She continued down the hall and turned to the Boo. "
Your a very pretty color." She addressed to the reddish boo that trailed along her side. "
We are here, this is my room." She smiled, "
Would you mind going to pick me out some new clothing?"
Treant was floating right after her. Like most boos, he shyed away when she made direct eye contact with him. He was extremely bashful when someone looked at him in the eyes, especially if it was a pretty girl. The boo hovered close behind until they came into her room. He looked around slowly before looking up at her. "
M..me?" He'd never had to do that before. He began to float slowly toward her closet, moving his stubby arm out and starting to pull open one of the huge doors for her.
"
Yes you silly." she tried to be friendly, because well, she was beginning to feel very lonely without her toads. "
All my clothing are very similar, It won't be hard to put an outfit together." She explained to the hovering creature. "
Whats your name?" she asked polity.
"
Um..I'mm...ummm... Treant.." Treant looked to her before blushing which made him even redder and he put his hands over his eyes, vanishing only slightly. She could still see him though. His name was pronounced Tree-Aunt. It was obvious that he was quite bashful when confronted directly.
"
Treant." She paused before offering him a slight smile. "
I'm Prin.." She paused one more after remembering her siduation. "
Call me Peach." She smiled once more before starting to undress. "
It feels so good to get out of these wet clothes."
Treant had slowly removed one of his stubby little arms from his bright blue eye as she started to undress. Once he realized this, he placed it back over his eye again, quickly turning so his backside was to her, since boos really didn't have a back since they were mostly spherical. He wagged his body a bit as he hovered toward the clothes. He grabbed the first outfit he could get his hands on, albeit lingerie or a dress. He just knew that it was pink, like mostly all of her clothes. "
O..okay, Peach..."
The uncrowned Princess wrapped her arms snugly behind her back and attempted to unzip the the shiny silver zipper as it got stuck in the mounds of pink and white lace. "
Excuse me, Trent?.." The princess said in slight discomfort as she wiggled her arms behind her as she played with the zipper. "
Could you give me a hand please?" She was use to having one of her little mushroom men assisting her with dressing and undressing. How she missed Toadsworth.
Hearing his name being called, Treant had floated just a bit closer, examining the zipper for a moment and tilting his body/head to the side for a moment in confusion as to why it was stuck.
"Sure, P-Peach." Noticing the problem, he had placed his stubby hand/arm over the zipper, hovering upward to pull the zipper up the path until it was fully zipped.
"There you go... U-um, the King.. will.. um.. be ready to see you soon.." The princess had no trouble getting a dryer version of the same pink and white lace gown. She was a little nervous about meeting with the King again. She walked over to a large vanity were she had the cutest most colorful variety of makeup. She picked up a cutsie brand of lip gloss that was a pale pink, a more natural color compared to some of the fluorescent colors. She smiled as she slipped on a pair of glittery violet shoes that matched her dress perfectly. She reached out for the door with her gloved hands and turned the nob and turned to the colored boo and smiled sweetly. "
Alright, lets be on our way."
"
F-follow me!"" The boo said as he had floated towards the door and out into the hallway. Those bright bright eyes of the boo had gazed around. All about, Peach could see boos floating through the walls and down the halls every-which-way. Some spots were a bit dirtied because of the fight between the toads and the boos; obviously the boos had the upper hand, with their invulnerability and all. "
A..a..bit messy, still..." He said. As they continued down the hall, the smell of delicious food came from within the dining area.
