I had no idea period. It makes me wonder though, because doesn't all the Silent Games have interlocking storylines etc? So it's almost like they kind of, Oh well I don't know, maybe bulled a lot of stuff just to make it a SH game? For anyone who is a SH fan dedicated to the story line that might annoying.

Although I do see where they're coming from. A lot of different horror movies and games nowaday do seem a lot alike so I guess they didn't want to look like they were copying or something.

Yea, I already knew that about Silent Hill 4... Silent Hill 4 has its connections to the series through Silent Hill 2 when a news article references to the Walter Sullivan Case, and then you go to Toluca Prison and find a marker for his grave. Silent Hill 4 is all about the ending of the Walter Sullivan Case in the present. *what Walter DIDNT finish*. You're right that SH4 has no connection through storyline, but it has its roots twisted in with the other games none-the-less. I wouldn't go as far as to say it has no complexity, just go to our subforum called the Underlying History of Silent Hill..... we had to break down the entire case in 3 parts:
Walter
Victims
21 Sacraments
There are still things left unanswered and are still puzzeling to figure out. That's half the fun of it, but you gotta admit Silent Hill 4 came through with making a good connection to the reference of Walter Sullivan in SH2. Also, in regards to what one guild member said, I don't think ANY part of SH4 was bulled. There are no references or mentioning in SH4 that give probable cause to doubt it has a twisted connection to history and events within silent hill.

In Silent Hill 2, when you're in the elevator at... I think the hospital, and you're asked questions by some game show host voice. Isn't one of the answers to a question Walter Sullivan...? Or am I wrong?

xP Yeah, not even made by Team Silent anymore. Didn't they sell the rights to some American investors or sommit? ;__; So Silent Hill 5 is not made by the original Silent Hill team either. That's why it's going to resemble SH4 and the movie a lot but not really resemble any of the original games at all. It's kind of sad. TT TT;

That's also why SH4 has ghosts and none of the other Silent Hill games have them. =________=;;;


It still amazes me how Silent Hill 1, 2 and 3 were all made by a Japanese team. _xD Silent Hill 4 and 5 (don't know about Origins, yet) were made by an American team. x__x; The difference shows...

By the way. Did you know that Heather was nicknamed after her voice actress, that Claudia was designed to have no eyebrows, and that Vincent is wall-eyed because he lies? xp
