So we were informed by a guy at Gamestop while getting Lego Indy that we should hold out and wait to get Guitar Hero 4 instead of Rock Band, which is now finally out for the Wii.
Now there are some improvements for sure on Guitar Hero 4 that Rock Band does not have. Like the drum set is better and you can make your own songs.
I'm just not sure about the character design. I have never been a fan of how the characters look in GH. I haven't been able to find any good images of that type of stuff, the whole visual end of things.
What do you guys think?
I personally say Rock Band... But thats because I hate Guitar Hero ever since 3. Activision has done nothing but show that they are complete jackasses that make really shitty games.
I really hate how they made their drum kit not compatible with the Rock Band one. Really? Really?! Who in their right mind will want to throw down another 170 bucks for another game that does the same thing if they already bought Rock Band? AND! They never let Harmonix release a patch to make the GH guitar work with Rock Band on PS3. Seriously? I hate Activision.
Harmonix kept me simply saying that every downloaded song for Rock Band will work with Rock Band 2. That is really awesome since I have put a lot of money into downloaded songs. That, and all I have to do is buy the game once it comes out instead of having to spend 170 bucks again for a bunch of new peripherals that don't work with any other game.
... But thats just me.
