Aspen warped in through the Chaos Gate, and promptly fell to her knees. She certainly looked the worst for wear; her body was covered in scratches and dirt, and her clothes were torn. She'd taken a lot of damage from that last monster. Cursing, she lifted herself, trying not to be noticed, and stumbled her way towards the fountain. She hated how it felt when she was this damaged; there was something about the way it played that made her nauseous in real life. The balance of the game was all thrown off, just like she'd received a hit to the head. Well, actually, she had. Several, in fact.

She plopped down on the edge of the fountain, and checked her purse. Sure enough, there was no money left. How was she ever going to get stronger in this game?! She never had enough money, and the monsters kept killing her and taking it all. So now she couldn't buy any healing potions. Great. Plus, it felt like a week since she'd leveled up to thirty. She wasn't getting anywhere! She was starting to feel she might never be able to help her brother.

"Damn it," she murmured under her breath, wishing she knew how to heal herself. She'd never learned that spell.

Riku warped into [The World] for the first time and looked around, clearly lost. "Well, lets try walking." He said as he took a few wobbily step forward. He continued walking untill he got outside. "Lets see. The manual said that this was the root town Mac.Anu. Maybe someone here can help me." As he walked to the fountin he saw a girl sitting alone, looking like she just lost her best friend, so he walked up to her, as straight as he could. Once he walked up to her he spoke. "Hey, are you ok? You look sad."

She had been sitting there, minding her own business, feeling kinda woozy, when the screen suddenly straightened itself out. She shook her head and looked around, just in time to catch Rikku's question.

"Monsters," she grumbled, dusting her arms off a bit, though it was just a game, so she didn't know why she'd bothered. Habitual, she supposed. "And thanks for that. I was in a bit of a pickle. I'm Aspen, by the way."

She stuck her hand out in front of her for a handshake, a slight smile on her face. She wasn't used to being helped. This girl seemed a bit strange, but you could never really tell anyway. After all, everyone in The World seemed a bit strange. Speaking of which, as she said this, a twin blade in black approached the two of them. He seemed a bit wobbly.

"Ano..." she murmured, unsure of whether he was talking to her or Rikku. She looked at the girl who'd saved her, briefly, wondering if she could discern.

((Hey, I'm not sure who you're talking to. Mostly cuz neither of us are alone, since she just helped me.. ^^; ))

Aspen looked at the two of them for a moment, before getting up to leave. She had a feeling she would be in the way if she stayed there. They were nice and all, but she hated to think she was in the way. Besides, she should get back to leveling up. She headed towards the Chaos Gate without even saying good-bye. She didn't want to interrupt.

Riku smiled and took her hand. "I would like that. Thank you." Riku released rikku's hand and handed her his member address. "We are supposed to do this when you make new friends right?" He asked with the command {confused}.

Riku did as instructed and took her member address. When he opened up the party menu he saw her class and level and nearly droped the controler. After he made a party with her, he changed his chat mode from talk to party, where he let loose. "Your a level 126 steam gunner!?"

Ayko appeared at the Chaos Gate. She sighed and looked around. She rarely appeared in a crowded place like this. She walk toward fountain people moved out of her way, and were she would look at then they would run or talk about her.
