The setting for this battle is a large, grassy valley, surrounded by mountains. There is a small stream about 12 meters from the highest mountain towards the east. The skies are clear, and it is blazing hot.

A large shadow, opposing the very sun, entered the large grassy area. Sweat dripping off his brow, Yata removed his scarf, dropping his black mantle from his shoulders. Yata sat down in the grass, cross legged, opening up the top half of his robe, which revealed his short sword, and his vest filled to the brim with darts of five different shades of Purple, White, and Black. Removing his goggles and headband too, Yata sat, fanning himself, his smile glowing in his own shadow. Yata looked up the the clear skies, the Sun illuminating the skies to a practically blinding proportion. What he wouldn't give for one cloud. "WHOOOOO! It's hot!" Yata screamed into the air, gasping a little. He figured there was little sense for no humor in this place, even though he was about to face his opponent. Still, the senses were all in the mind, and a level head was key to victory. Propping himself up, still siting, with arms behind his back, and his hands upon the ground, Yata waited for his opponent.

Moon wished she could have used the shadows to just; in a sense, teleport here sadly she'd never been here. This scenery was completely opposite from what she was used too, it was definitely going to be a little harder using the shadows with the sun blazing. It wouldn't be impossible, just a lot more energy draining. Her ears twitched though hearing a yell, or was it more of an exclamation?
Looking over she saw her opponent and almost jumped out of her skin, nothing ever went easy. Realizing that she had stopped walking she began walking again toward him. She was not going to start this fight, besides don't you usually greet your opponents first? "Umm . . . hello?" It was half shouted, she wasn't sure about this.

Yata'Djinn turned softly, happy his opponent stuck to the traditional fighting way, instead of just attacking him out of the blue like most dishonorable opponents. Standing to face her as his full height of 7'2", Yata the rather huge Over-Troll bowed slightly, taking no fighting stance just yet. "Shall we begin?" He proclaimed to her, his I'm-going-to-eat-you-and-savor-your-bones smile quite calm in the heat. His open top half of robe flowed behind him as a strong gust of wind graced the heat, causing mass waves of grass to flow in his direction. If this weren't a battle, he'd be more inclined to enjoy the scenery more.

Moon almost back stepped seeing how tall he really was, but she held her ground somehow. Seeing that he had greeted her she returned the bow, her heart was pounding, this was her first fight in a long long time. Rising up from the bow, she was about to nod to say that she was ready to begin but his smile stopped her cold. After seeing that, the heat didn't bother her so much, she probably couldn't even feel it. This was definitely going to be a fun, if not very hard match for her, she just wanted to stay concious through the whole thing. "R-Ready when you are . . . " She almost couldn't find her voice, but after that she took a deep breath and seemed much calmer. Though her heart still pounded, she was actually ready for this fight. Taking a few steps back she waited to see what he would do, to see if she'd would have to make the first move.

Yata took a large leap backwards, his robe snapping forward as he leaped with the wind. Very far distanced now, Yata took his stance, Raising his right palm toward his opponent, and his left facing the floor. Yata had his right foot forward, his pure white eyes floating upon pools of black sea examining her closely. Yata's goal in this fight was to stay at a distance, not allowing her to get any closer than she was now. Perfect range distance. "I'll allow you the first move, little one." Yata said, his smile always adorned on his face. Though Yata faced the sun, His eyes seemed not fazed by the intense rays of light, and the sun illuminating his featured better. Blank Eyes that never blinked. Teeth sharper than any beast on land or sea. This Troll would make his people proud.

Moon watched him take a leap back, he now was far away from her and that put her more at easy. A smile creeped to her lips, this was something that put her at an advantage too since part of her skills were in archery. Being called 'little one' didn't phase her, compared to him she must have looked like a child. So she got to make the first move, well looks like she might as well make the best of it.
Kneeling down her eyes never left her opponent; besides she could do this in her sleep, she was worried about any sudden movements. As she knelt down she reached her left hand into the shadow that her body had created. It looked as if she was sticking her hand into the ground, normally she would carry her bow with her but this was easy storing. Rising up from her kneeling position her left hand came out of the shadows holding a dark bow. It glinted in the sun with it's midnight color, there were carvings all over it and yet it held some kind of evil beauty.
Then she raised her left arm as if to fire the bow as she put her right hand on the string. True there was no arrow, but that changed soon enough. Moon's eyes changed to a silver color and a black arrow formed where a normal arrow should be. Pulling back the draw string it seemed as if the arrow was charging up because she was charging it up with some shadow energy. That way even if her opponent dodged it there would be enough power in it to make a wave or explosion. Aiming Moon let go of the draw string, she wanted to see how he would react.

Yata'Djinn stood perfectly still, watching as the Woman pulled her bow from her own shadow. A Ranged shadow user, eh? this would be very interesting... Little did the Knight know, Yata was building up energy in his Shortsword shown in his open robe. Examining her moves calmly, Yata continued to build invisible energy. The arrow was shot, and as it did Yata swiftly gave a sharp spin, drawing his sword when he was turned and lifting it into the air. When the spin gave full 360 he effortlessly send his blade slashing down, releasing a near invisible wave of energy that would collide with the arrow of shadow. Combining his energy, with the thin-ness of his blade, the energy released was like a massive slash, extremely thin, and well capable enough to cut through nearly anything. Yata sheathed his sword, taking his stance again quickly, faster than a flash, and awaited the collision, hoping his extra thin slash would cut through the arrow, destroy it, and proceed to hit it's true mark.

Moon watched the man wondering how he would counter her arrow. Seeing that he used his sword to slash it wait that was but wasn't his sword. Moon hadn't seen this type of power before, her first guess was wind but she knew she was off. When the tip of his power touched the arrow the arrow seemed to explode and the shadow energy that was charged up was released. She was hoping that the shadow energy would stop or at least dampen whatever hit the arrow. She was watching her opponent the whole time and saw the downward slash, or that's what she thought she saw.
Just in case she started to run sideways still holding the bow, she felt something graze the left side of her. Was that what he had slashed down? Her aim would be a off since she was running, but right now she just wanted to try and figure out what she was up against. While running she formed more dark arrows in her bow and fired them off. After one was fired she would form another one to shoot, but out of habit she slowed her running so her archery would be more accurate. She was almost positive though most of them wouldn't hit him. Then she stopped moving all together and just stood there.
{[ I know I shouldn't ask this, but was that ok? ]}

Edit ((Yeah, it's fine :3))
Yata leaped into the air, knowing most arrows she had fired were aimed at his original position. Following her movements, Yata used his levitation to give his leap an extra boost, but making it seem like his long legs had just make his jump far into the air. If Yata was careful, he could disguise his energy throughout the whole battle as wind, seeing as his energy was practically invisible. At his peak hight, right before Yata was to fall, Yata charged his sword once more, Slashing at the girls direction five times, mostly to counter any incoming arrows, but also to cut her on impact. Yata then began his decent from the heavens, his knees bent in precaution to having to roll away from some sort of attack. His levitation slowing him down greatly, Yata gave two more slashes with his energized sword, one to the left, another to the right, in case she dodged the first five.

{[ Ok, thanks, I have a fear I might Godmode >_>;; ]} {[ Edit: If I ever do, someone stab and/or slap me ]}
Moon guessed he would use the same attack to counter her arrows, but she had no idea would have lept into the air. Seeing him slash about five more times from the air made Moon nervous, she couldn't see the slashes. So she stopped looking at her opponent to look at the arrows that had been sliced, those weren't charged so they were just like normal arrows. Just very powerful ones, she wanted to judge how they were slashed to try to avoid the on coming slashes. She knew that that effort would be useless with the speed of that power so she did the only thing she could think of. Using the shadows she created a small barrier to try and at least stop the attacks coming at her.
It was fairly useful, except when the barrier made contact with his power she was being pushed back. After the five slashes the barrier went down Moon didn't want to expend too much energy on the begining of the fight. Holding her bow out she looked back at her opponent who now was descending. Her mistake had been that she had taken her eyes off him in trying to deal with the other five slashes. The slash that had been made to her left she was far enough over to dodge, but the right one hit her bow head on. She almost lost her footing and that would have been bad for her, using her bow she held fast and stopped the air slash. Not without some cuts on her own person though. 'Wind? This can't be wind, what is it?!' Moon was become frustrated, not knowing what type of power this was. For now though she convinced herself to just accept it as wind until further notice.
Panting slightly she looked over at the man, she felt so winded and yet he had hardly moved. She couldn't keep expending her energy and she could already tell that long range was his speciality. It looked as if she would have to try a close combat with him, her bow was specifically designed for long and close range combat. It looked like a normal bow, but the ends were as sharp as blade in case she was backed into a corner. Moon began to run at the man; zigzagging, because so far the slashes hadn't curled around and tried stabbing her from the back.

((Will do, lol. xD ))
Yata sheathed his sword before falling, rolling sideways as the girl swiftly zigzagged her way closer and closer to him. Things became very slow for Yata as his advanced mind processed the situation, not wanting to waste his energy on foresight just yet. Apparently most of his attacks had been blocked by a shield of shadow, but one of his other attacks had hit, colliding with her bow, and cutting her some. apparently this shield blinded her when used, he could use this to an advantage. Standing from his roll, facing his opponent who was advancing rapidly. Using quick action Yata unsheathed his sword once more, giving four slashes. One Going horizontal. One Vertical, and two going down sideways from the left and right. These slashes stayed as a light purple-tinted energy directly in front of Yata, creating a sort of Vortex effect with the air, and making a disturbance in the area, as if everything wanted to get sucked in the star-like energy. Still, with the sun facing Yata, it would be hard to recognize the extremely light purple tint of the star, and remain basically invisible. the star covered a very large area, and when launched, it would either force his opponent to his extreme right of extreme left, which would be right where he wanted her. As an added bonus, Yata charged up energies in his fist, punching the star, giving it extra force, and a spin to it too. Yata then placed his arms outstretched in front of his to his sides, waiting for his opponents decision, his smile that was once calm, now very sinister on his face. It seemed more and more likely Yata was having dinner after this fight.

{[ Lol thanks, now that that's covered >=3 ]}
Moon didn't like this, her opponent hadn't made any movement except for the slashes and she could sense that they weren't like the ones before because she didn't have to dodge them. This made her feel very uneasy about actually attacking him close range. With the sun though she couldn't make out much of what he was preparing to do. Her cat instincts didn't like the looks of this and they told her to stop running and turn the other way while her brain said to keep moving.
Something was coming at her though and she knew it, but it would be too easy to dodge right? Simple step to the right of left, right? Too simple, her brain didn't accept simple solutions and that got to her in trouble. Then another solution came to her and she liked this one, while running still she was going to use the shadows. She stuck the bow in her mouth and with both hands she created a shadow pole. From the top down so it would launch her up in the air, he had done an assault from the air so now she was going to try one. Whatever was coming at her shattered her pole easily, too easily for her liking. Now she was in free fall and she was ready to attack even with the bow in her bow. Using what shadows she could muster from this height she sent down a rain of a good 15 little spikes, which jetisoned her up a little higher. The only problem now was landing.

"Very clever, or lucky..." Yata said quietly. The girl had mustered to dodge his attack by going into the air. Unfortunately for her, control over shadows was weak where there was no ground, giving Yata an advantage. The energy that had shattered the girls pole didn't stop going, it proceeded to rip a large amount of grass from the ground, leaving scars in the earth, and finally colliding into one of the valley's mountains, leaving a small, but visible, star shaped scar upon it's side. Yata took a different position, his legs separate, but firm on the ground. Pulling up some energies into his fists, and sending two punches at the girls weaker shadow arrows, forcing them to change course directly back at their master along with the force of energy. Yata then took his normal stance, launching a string of darts upward and sideways from the falling Knight at intense speeds, in the air it was hard to move around, and with her incoming spikes, his energy blasts, and the darts at her incoming, Yata hoped one of the other would hit, if not all. Still, he returned to his defensive stance, sending one more wave of energy to, at least, push her back if all else failed.

'CRAP!' Was the first thought that entered her mind, cats can land on their feet but she saw what could have happen to her happen to the mountain. Now that was something she'd have to watch out for again, but she had bigger problems with her shadows coming back at her. With minimal effort she could absorb them into her body, but the bodies that he had sent up at her would cause another problem entirely. This would hurt afterward, but if she wanted to protect herself from his darts she had to.
She had no idea what the darts were or what they could be coated with so taking the bow out of her mouth she curled herself into a ball. Then she had the shadows give her an outer ball shield, you couldn't see in or out. But it was some of the strongest barrier she could make. On the inside so he could see she coated it with ice to increase its strength and to freeze her inplace in hopes of no broken bones. The shadow darts were absorbed into the ball, but the other darts stuck to the ball making her look like at a giant mace without a chain.
The wave of energy hit the ball making her fly back, almost like baseball bat making contact with a baseball. Boy was this going to hurt. After a little air travel the ball landed, well more like crashed into the ground making a small crater. Moon wasn't sure what to do next, she couldn't see where she was but she was worried if she checked her surrounding he might deliver a swift K.O. Right now though she was dethawing the inside of the ball first, one step at a time. She would weaken the barrier slowly so she could try to see through it before moving. But right now she wasn't entirely sure she could move. The aftershock would hit her soon enough.
