Gerry plays the role of the goal keeper Frank Borghi in this movie. i am not sure if it was every released in the US or canada but if anyone has seen it please fill us in!

Does anyone know when this movie is coming out on DVD? I adore Gerry but darn him and his independent flicks that will never play in my small town. evil
Anyway, my only chance of seeing most of his movies is buying them, so if you have any info on GoTL, I will appreciate it. wink

It's actually being released on DVD in the US on September 12. It's US name is The Miracle Match.

i havent seen it but ive heard him describe it and ive seen parts of it he dosent have his accent but it keeps seeping through its cool

i rented it yesterday and i am telling you its fantastic. Gerry plays a st louis boy, (italian) he totally drops his Scot accent and is incredibly hot as an american playing soccer not to mention the scene in the rain and his wet t-shirt~!

It was really good. Though Gerry does seem to have a hard time with the american accent...his Scottish accent comes through a little but the movies was tre awesome anyway!!!! I wonder if he knew how to play goalie before the movie...

I watched The Miracle Match over the weekend. If I had known that Gavin Rossdale was also in this movie, I wouldn't have waited so long to watch it! The film community has been holding out on me!
The comparison between the basic beliefs of Santeria and other religions was surprising during that scene where they're going to Brazil for the big game. I don't know why I should be surprised by it...
