So how many people here watch series on Youtube or other video websites, rather than download? Right now I'm watching Minami-ke on Youtube. There's different versions of the English fansub, one of which is uploaded in the full 25 min episode in a low quality with hard to read subtitles. However I did find episodes cut up into thirds, which had nice, easy to read subs and pretty good quality sound.
Do you think this kind of thing can replace downloading anime? Is it already?
I kind of like to store some series and watch them later, whereas on these sites, you never know when a series will be taken down.

I use realityLapse.com a lot as well to download my animes. They have a fair selection to choose from..and thus far , the only series thieve had that had really poor quality was Mi-Hime...which I did really want to see. All in all, I'd prefer to download my anime, then I can own another series. Possibly even reformat it or clean it up in the future.

Yeah, I guess veoh.com is also taking stuff down fast. I've been going to anime6.org, for One Piece.

I never download anime.
I usually watch it on Veoh or buy the DVDs.

I only download them to make AMVs...
I watch them on Veoh..
And if they're not on Veoh... crunchyroll.
And if they're not on crunchyroll... I buy/rent it.
Or if im too lazy to watch them on the computer I buy/rent them
But I always buy my favorite series. I love rewatching them.

I usually watch my anime on YT or veoh, if I really like the series than I buy the DVD. For a long time now I find that there aren't any good anime shows on t.v. which really sucks.

I've heard the complaint from the anime community that there just aren't any good anime anymore, period. I think the medium has really focused too much on the teen crowd, whereas the fans keep getting older. I wish it were more like Gaming, where it seems you have something for everybody. Rather than something only people in a certain time of their life will enjoy.

I find that anime has really gone downhill over the past years, they really need to bring back some of the old anime shows that are really good like Lupin the 3rd or Sailor Moon, or something like that at least.

I buy or borrow all my anime. I don't believe in piracy other than looking up an episode you missed.
