Lutia adjusts her scarf standing a fair distance away from Viva.
"Ready?"

Viva cracks his neck and nods. He crosses his arms and waits.
Lutia reaches behind herself and takes a defensive posture holding her mana gun and dagger at ready.
"I will let you make the first move since im your leader."
Viva bows his head fora momnet. "Very well." He suddenly leaps back and lands 200 yards back. He takes off one of his gloves and slashes his palm with his dagger. He then begins to draw something on his palm with his
own blood.
Lutia fires her mana gun at the ground below Viva while switching out her dagger for her Chomp Pole.
He has super human strength but his abilities of worth on the battle field is knowledge of ancient technology and a small array of combat magic making him a dangerous oponent.Viva leaps up high into the air and finishes the seal. The moment he lands he points his left palm towards the ground and grabs his left wrist.
"Edenian saga'ru'ti: Cardo Ber'nay ti sor Kal-le-mar!" ((Immortal technique: Blood Summons of the Kal-le-mar))
Five flares of white fire appear around him and resolve into five massive armored war tigers. The tiger split off into diffrent direction and form into a loose circle around her.
Casting the Chomp at one of the tigers it making contact with its neck drawing Lutia to it before its neck is snapped.
Firing four shots in succession at Viva she switches out her gun and chomp pole with the shroom lance and a dagger, standing before the dead tiger she waited for an opening calculating her opponents methods.
The dead tiger vansihes in a blast of white fire hitting Lutia with the blast. Viva watches as the bolts come at him. He calmly swing his halberd in front of him and deflects three of the shots. He ducks down under the fourth and slams his palm into the ground. "Magmus." Nothing apparently happens. Three of the tigers surround Lutia in a loss delta pattern while the largest of the tigers, a white snow tiger moves behind Viva.
Leaping forward to avoid the blast of fire Lutia recovers in a roll slashing at one of the tigers with her lance connecting with its back legs.
I see now.
Switching out her dagger for the mallet she swings connecting with one of the tigers sending it flying in Viva's direction.
The tiger flips though the air and lands on its feet. The wounds on its legs heal rapidly and it charges foward with two other tiger. As the tigers close in form three sides, the tigers take in a large breath before exhaling a three sub zero blasts of air laced with powerful ice magic. Viva meanwhile remains in the same postion with his palm placed on the ground. If one were to look closely they could see a faint red light on the outline of the ground.
Switching out her mallet for the gun quickly she leaps out of the way avoiding it in an acrobatic feat just barely (not good at describing the exact body positioning.)
Getting off two shots at the trio of tigers while changing her shroom lance for her chomp pole.
The tigers jump away from the shots but they don't move towards Lutia. The reason why soon becomes apparent the moment Lutia lands. The ground suddenly explodes as a powerful jet of lava shoot up at her form below.
If Lutia had been there a moment longer she would have been in grave danger. Fortunatly while she was in midair she had cast her Chomp pole making contact with the ground a distance away and was dragged away before the lava could make contact.
It looks like its time I took this fight to close range.Switching out her gun for her shroom lance she runs forward casting the chomp pole again this time directly at Viva while holding the lance before her.
the gorund rumbles around her as more jets of lava explode all around her.
Viva looks up and smiles.
"Magnami"
A massive curtain of lava explodes form the ground completely circling Lutia. The curtains raises hundreds of feet in the air before it slowly start to collapse inward. In only a few seconds Lutia would be buried in a sea of lava.
Knowing her Shroom lance would not be adequate protection Lutia puts away the pole, its line melted and puts on the Kinetivity ring. Closing her eyes for a moment Nearly seventy beads fly out of the ring and shield Lutia with an elecromagnetic barrier as a small number of additional beads extend this wall beyond the burning curtain.
Not bad.The Chomp makes contact with Viva biting down onto his side just under the right arm with its metallic teeth, A few of which break off from the mawers mouth.
The lava drops down around her coating her in a dome of lava .Viva looks down at chomp. He reaches down with his free hand and start to crush it with his tremendous strength. He looks up and sees the lava covered dome.
"Aquas"
The lava is covering the shield is soon covered by a layer of water. Soon the lava hardens into a extreamly thick layer of obsidian stranded in a lake of lava. Inside the sheild the temperature sky rockets and the air becomes thin as the heat burns up what little oxygen was left inside with Lutia.
Losing half its teeth the Chomp releases Viva after folding the ribcage inward and snapping his shoulder blade. The Chomp flops away.
Lutia walks through the gap outside of the lava that her shield created and removes her ring. Replacing it with the chomp pole she casts out the line letting it conneect with the Chomp brining it back to her care.
((she trapped in a dome of obsidaian surrounded by a lake of lava, she won't be able to cast a line untill she breaks thought the dome))
((You overlooked the part back when the lava was coming down where she extended the beads to form a shield through the curtain of flying lava. She expected to be trapped and created a counter to it before you had a chance to use the water spell.))
((yeah but wouldn't the lava still coat the top of the shield? bah doesn't really matter Lutia still couldv'e gotten out anyway so i'm not going to dwell on it. ))
Viva moves quickly. He grabs chomp as he starts to fly back to Lutia. He braces his legs and pulls with all his strenght. There were four possiable outcomes. One Lutia lets go of the chomp pole, two Lutia tries to hold on to the chomp pole which would end most likely with her arms being ripped off, Three the string snaps, Four Chom is torn in two. Meanwhile his bones reset and heal. Chomp did some damage but not enough to cause viva any worry.
The teeth left inside of Vivas wound come to life. Sprouting mouths the teeth begin to dig pathwats through Viva's body chewing through bones, blood vessels and muscles. One of them eats a hole through his lung.
Eventually the teeth would grow and become small Mawers growing as they consume more substance.
Clever.
Switching out her Shroom Lance for her Mana Gun Lutia leaps into the air and fires a concentrated burst. the force of the blast combined with her smaller frame send her rocketing towards Viva.
The Chomp squirms in Viva's grasp.
Viva instantly know what is going on inside his body. He give Chomp one last squeeze before hurling him into the lake of lava. He notices Lutia flying right towards him. He instaly devises a plan. Viva explodes into tendrils of water letting the teeth turned mawers drop on the ground. Then tendrils shoot through the air right towards Lutia at the last moment Viva reform and grabs Lutia by the throat. As the they both fall to the ground he hurls her down with all his might.
((Viva can turn into water? When did this happen?))
With the speed of an expert quickdraw Lutia puts away her mana gun and bends her body twisting her legs around Vivas arm. Using her free hand to catch the ground she rotates flipping the both of them with Viva's own strength letting him take the ground impact with the back of his head.
With the pole still reeling the Chomp was saved from the fall and continues her journey back to lutia.
The mini mawers now without substance burrow into the ground looking for nutrients.
((thats a old ability i very rarely use it. Viva can't really transform, but by flooding his body with water magic he can change up his molecular structure to water. It not really useful except as a stealth, and only so when its raining. He uses it sometimes for defense but not very often))
Viva extends a arm above his head and lands on his palm he pushes off flipping up and away. He spin in the air burning off the momentum of his own throw and lands on the ground. He make eye contact with Lutia. It was only for a split second but it was all he needed for his next spell.
"Aquatus."
Lutia now starts to experince a dull headeache and her eyes start to be become slightly sore but that is all that seems to happen. Little does she know that that spell allows Viva to adjust the water in some ones body, to oh lets say, increase the pressure of the Cerbro-spinal fluid surrounding the brain till it crushes the orgarn, or increase the pressure in someones eyes till there eyes burst. Over time the headache will grow worse and the her eyes will start to hurt more and more till either she can find a way to stop the spell or she dies.
Viva stands ready waiting for Lutia to make the next move.
The glasses glow as if reflecting bright light for a second and return to normal.
Hmm. It apears he was trying to use some form of eye magic.
The chomp returns and on cue Lutia switches out her Chomp pole for her dagger and draws her jutte.
Stabbing Viva's arm with the curved dagger to get her neck free she nearly slices it clear off. Simulatiosly she swings the Jutte at Vivas skull sounding a dull ring as it moved.

Viva lets go of Lutia as her dagger comes down. He gets a nice gash on his arm from the dagger, but he was focusing on other things. A small smile play across his lips as he see the jutte aimed for his head. He ducks under quickly and spins on his heel placing him behind Lutia. Before she can react he wraps a powerful arm around her neck with her chin resting in the crook of his elbow. He paces is other hand on her forehead. She fell right into Viva's specialty, and given him a perfcet chance to break her neck. He doesn't though mainly starts to choke her.
((Picture a square shaped rod with a single sai-like arm. It is designed to catch swords and was used by Japanese policmen back in the day. The one Lutia uses can actualy shatter a weapon it catches or disable it though it has a catch to it in that it is incapable of killing a person.))
Stabbing again at the wounded hand Lutia swings upwards with the Jutte connecting with his head. The dull ringing would sound in his ears for a few short minutes causing havoc with his equilibrium.
Viva would begin to feel pain in his feet as the mini mawers from before came out of the ground and burrowed through his shoes into his feet.
Viva steps back for a moment. He shakes his head clearing the ringing in his head. He growls as the mawers bite in to he his feet. He leaps back and lands in the lava. He starts to draw in the lava and incinerated the mawers in his body. He leaps far back putting alot of distance between the two. He starts to draw on a large amount of magic for one of his stronger attacks.
Switching out her dagger for her shroom lance, Lutia throws it with alot of strength sending it flying at Viva.
As it began its flight she switches out the Jutte for the mallet mach 2.
Most of the Mini mawers are incinerated by the blast except for two (one in each leg) that had matured to the point where they began to grow there supiriour coating. They had managed to grow to the size of golf balls and were leaving clear gaping tunnels in Viva's body. before long his legs would probably just cave in on him.
Viva looks up and is forced to revet back to water. The lance passes right through and gets stuck in a tree nearby. Viva reforms and picks up the two mawers. The wounds in his legs had healed forcing him to use some of his reserve energy. He looks at the two mawers for a moment before they are engulfed in a a blast of light vaporizing them.
"Troublesome creatures."
He finally gather enough power for the spell.
"Edea Bisor Aquatus Draco: Sargi ti sor Aquai" ((Eternal Twin Tidal Dragon: Dance of the Waves.))
The ground underneath Lutia explodes hurling her hundreds of feet up into the air with tons of earth as two massive water dragons shoot out of the ground twisting in a double helix motion.
Lutia activates the mallet mach II using its steam power to propel her towards towards the dragons. Drawing her curved dagger she cuts at one of the dragons following the point from there tail to there neck.
The shroom lances flight released a large amount of spores into the air that were slowly settling all along the area.
Lutia attempt to harm the dragon has no effect The contuine to spiral upwards. Small little glowing embers appear around Viva as the spore nearby him are incinerated by fire magic. ((He's using alot more magic based attacks than normal. )) icon_sweatdrop.gif
Switching out her dagger for the ring she puts it on to create a powerful barrier around herself. Swinging the mallet mach II with all her might the steam powered hammer sends her spiraling into the living wall with the shield at full strength.

((Wall? what wall? and actually i think Viva might have the edge in close combat. Lutia is more agile, but viva is faster and stronger, yeah you has a seperate store of energy for magic.))
((The dragons are circling her in an upward spiral forming a living wall in a sense.
Even then Viva is using fighting styles that would take up alot of magic and stamina. While a very powerful race probably able to kill untold numbers with these abilities I have trouble imagining his tactics having the same level of effectiveness against a single opponent who is equal to him.
No offense meant its just that his battle style looks like it was built for militia purposes.))
((well you see the spell is a two pronged attack. It summond to draons made of water the explode form the ground and hurls eneimes though the air, then the dragons slam into the ground and create a tidal wave of water. I'm waiting for Lutia to hit the ground before the spell is competed. She can't distrupt spell by mearly attacking the dragons. And no offense taken. True viva is designed for mass battles and not one on one sparring. but agaisnt solo opponents he usally overwheams them with sheer force and speed, but with Lutia's agility it places them on equals. Though when Viva turn into his Ancient form his hand to hand attacks have a radial effect due to the shockwave he produces from sheer brute force. I think Viva in human form is at least a even fight for Lutia if not her being slightly better due to the fact she can avoid most of his straight forwards attacks, but she's still supectiable to his counterattacks. In Ancient form though I'm sure Viva has her beat in close combat. A near miss could still shatter every bone in a human's body, and unless Lutia has some sorta restitance then she would suffer heavy damage rather quickly if she goes one on one with a Ancient. You'll see what I mean with Najah's test. If you would like to postpone the fight till after Najahs's test so you can get a better idea of a Ancient's hand to hand abilites then I'm willing to put it on pause.
((But she is wielding a mallet that is steam powered. She is literaly flying in the air right now so long as she is wielding it.
No im fine. Lutia has three or four trump cards handy still, not to mention she has managed to think a step ahead so far without a clear idea of Viva's abilities beforehand.))

No matter how you shake it regeneration has its limits. You can only take so much damage before fatique catches up to you.

((true, but the advantage of the Ancient's life cycle is that because his body "absorbs" others souls he has, and i can say this with certinatiy, the largest amount of stamina and energy than any other of the Jarians. Viva has killed thousands during the many wars in the Western Front so he has thousands of souls he can use as energy. Now this would almost seem limitless, but when faced with several high damaging attacks back to back in rapid sucession will start to drain his reserves quickly. That and spritual attacks can "destory" the souls he has absorb further decreasing his amount of stamina. But as far as I know of Lutia doesn't have any spritual attack so she must resort to laying heavy damage on him. And he hasn't used his most powerful spells yet...well..the Spell that is going on currently is one, but I can't really move on till Lutia lands. ))

Viva watches as she spins though the air. He reaches into his jacket and pulls out a small metal ball. He flicks his thumb over a small crystal panel and the device start to make a low whine which soon increases in pitch untill a loud pop fill the air form the polarized EMP shorting out her barrier. The moment its down Viva raise a hand letting lose a beam of light. From his point of view the beam seems to hit but he waits for the air to clear form the explosion to see if he got her.
The moment Lutia saw the beads shield flicker out she kicks the handle of the mallet mach II sending it spinning in the oposite rotation avoiding the oncoming attack. Switching out the ring for the Mana gun Lutia lets it soak up any access energy from the light spell, purifies it into raw mana and fires it back downwards at Viva.
Not taking any chances Lutia banks downwards following after it at high speed.
((there is no magic required in Viva light based attacks. well except in the Solairis. Viva can absorb, or generate light in Ancient and Ascendant form, then ampifly and concentrate the light inside his body before relaseing it as sort of laser from his hands. So I'm Just going to assume that she just dodged it then is now charging Viva)) Viva grins. He quickly dispell the two dragons getting back some of his magic . He finally unslings Sol'fer'luna form his back and pumps light into the weapon. The blade glows slightly. He then slashes the air and creating a crescent of energy flying right towards Lutia. He follows with 6 more crescents. At Lutia's current speed it would be extreamly hard for her to dodge without suffering from extreme G force which could cause her to black out.

Not bad Viva, not bad at all.
Lutia kicks the mallet mach II again setting off one of the jets in the head. Going off the mallet does a high speed turn smashing into the first cresent slash and and breaking it. The force of the deflection was enough to divert her from the path of the other six without slowing her greatly.
Rockets on the head activate stopping her feet above the ground.
"Not bad. Do you have anything else?"
((ah you see though that one of the hang ups of some rps. People idea of things differ for instance what i consdier magic is differnt. Magic is a latent power within people that can be use to manipulate and alter the world around them. It exist within all sentient beings and certain creatures attune to magical energy. but either way doesn't matter. Even if she did fire the shot Viva would've just defeclted it. ))
Viva just keeps smiling. He gives a low whistle. Suddenly the four remaining tigers he summoned at the start of the fight appear and latch onto each of Lutia's limbs holding her still.
Viva hold his arms out in front of him.

Suddenly white and blue fire cover his arms and form into two gaping dragon heads. Viva inhales deeply. The two flame dragons heads on his arms let out a intense concentrated stream of white fire heading right for Lutia, Viva exhales a split second later letting out another stream of fire form his mouth.

A jet of steam fires from Mallet Mach II killing the tigers gripping onto her left leg and arm. Kicking the mallet again she is pulled to the right avoiding the blast.
After she escapes it she twitches out the mallet for her curved dagger and cuts the throat of the one holding her arm.
This will no doubt hurt.
The three streams of fire just miss Lutia. The one form Viva's mouth detonates into a massive inferno, the ones form his arms suddenly arch sharply and impact Lutia catching her in a titanic blast of white hot fire.
Viva watches calmly. He was panting a bit though. That attack always did a massive drain on his magical energy. At this rate he would run out of magic soon and would be forced into hand to hand.
Painfully Lutia reaches down grabbing the last of the tigers like a weapon and lifted him effortlessly infront of her. The blasts hit the tiger head on and knocked her backwards from the after effect.
My resources are limited so I need to save them a little longer...
Noticing a gash in her arm Lutia tears off a bit from her scarf and ties it over the wound. Drawing her normal mallet she props herself up and stares at Viva unflinching. Her curved dagger in hand she waits to see what he would try next.
Viva's right hand reaches over and grabs his dagger as well. He chokes up on his halberd handles weilding it more like a ax now. He smiles for a moment. He takes his dagger and places the blade between his teeth. His right hand dips into a pocket before coming up with a handful of small cylindrical devices. Gripping his halberd tighter he charges at Lutia.
Lutia tilts her head for a moment and snaps her fingers making a small flame apear for a moment before flickering out. With a steadying breath Lutia runs forward and makes a swing with her mallet at Viva.
Viva raises his dagger to intercept her mallet, the Anceint made dagger slicing clean though her mallet. Having blocked her attack he stabs forward with his halberd.
Switching out her ruined mallet for the jutte she catches the halberd and twists it out of Vivas grip. No matter his strength once a weapon is caught by this jutte they would either become disarmed or break the weapon.
She is able to twist the weapon away form Viva but not without the jutte being badly damaged by the halberd's incredably sharp blade. Viva plants and foot and spins on his heel getting behind her, then using his superior speed to drive his dagger into her shoulder blade.
Lutia senses the weapon behind her and uses her faster arm movement to counter with her dagger. A weapon layered with dozens of compatible spells would be about equel in quality to an ancient weapon.
Meanwhile an unseen form pulled the shroom lance from its tree a distance away.
Even though Lutia's dagger was able to get there in time, Viva sheer strenght pushed the blade aside, but she was able to defect the blow enough for him to leave a gash on her back instead of a stabbing her clean though. Viva steps back and raises a hand. Light starts to buildup on his palm as he perpared to lauch another beam, this time at point blank range.

Now would be a good time.
Before Viva had time to register it Lutia switches out her dagger and jutte for the Mallet Mach II and the ring. Kicking the mallet to raise her into the air the beads fly out of the ring and form behind her.
It begins to rain...
Viva looks up. The rain pours around him. The place is soon covered with steam form rain hitting the lava, decreaseing the visablity. Viva grabs his halbered and looks up waiting to see what Lutia was up to.
he spores that fell down earlier began to make there effects known. Before a number of them had burned up when they neared Viva but the location he was standing at had a large number of them...Suddenly all at once a number of the mushrooms sprouted from the ground like bladed umbrellas cutting into the bone and threatening to amputate his feet. It would not be good for him to gall over in a time like this with so many of those shrooms all around him.
Viva teleports away and into the lava lake. He looks around for a moment.
"Very well, if you want to play like that."
Viva raise his hand to the sky.
"Aquas." Suddenly the rain falls harder and harder till the rain streaks down like thousands of bullets falling from the clouds. The rain drops turned weapons easily cut down the forest of mushroom spores.
The beads cluster over lutia forming a strong physical canopy to protect her from the rain.
He should be out of magic shortly.
Hanging in midair she waits to see Viva's next move.
True Viva was low on magic, but unknowingly, makeing it rain only gave him a advantage. If she was paying attention she would notice that even though rain was hitting viva he didn't seem in the least bit wet. The reason why is that he was absorbing the rain hitting him and re-energizing himself. Though it would be hard to see him though the thick layer of steam.
((Sorry, but Lutia made a huge strategic error by making it rain ))

Lutia in her defensive canopy watched as her plan came together.
Lightning arced through the sky coming down on Viva. Being more easily damaged by elements such as lightning it would cost him. Once the lightning struck the rain began to disipate leaving as suddenly as it came.
Lutia stayed skyward waiting for the fog to disperse.
Looks like it is time for the next step.

Viva, now completely refreshed from the rain streaks forward. The lighting missing him for the most part. A few bolts came close but he was able to dodge them. Still covered by the layer of steam, which didn't seem to lift, he manages to position himself perfectly. He gathers up some of his renewed magic energy.
"Elec'tri." ((lightning or electricity)) Suddenly the ground-to-cloud lighting streaks up to Lutia form below.

Lutia makes a spin to the side avoiding the lightning and focuses on her oponent once more.
Now.
The shroom lance plunged into Vivas back as its mysterious wielder appeared.
Grenade the armored ball and user of basic magics such as rainfall and lightning hit the lance causing its blades to extend outwards.
This would be one time Viva would regret having fast regeneration.
(If confused look back a number of posts to when Lutia snapped her fingers.)
Touching back down onto the ground Lutia was joined by Grenade who hovered over her shoulder as the pair pause to catch there breath.
((Well Viva can gain a type of "feild advantage" when fighting in areas such as near a ocean, wildfire, or volcano. Lutia was wearing him out quite well, it was just a mistake making it rain. She should also try to keep him away form the lake of lava as well. Viva can absorb water, fire or lava in large amounts to repleash his strenght, now this is not saying that a campfire will restore him or a puddle of water. It require large amounts to fully restore him. I thought that it was going to keep raining so i jumped the gun by saying he was fully refreashed. He did recover a good chunk of energy form the rain, but not compelty refreashed, he can proably pull one maybe two of his more powerful spells before he runs out of magic but he still has his regular reserve of energy which as of so far he has been using to heal. If Lutia can get him to use up all of his magic then he will be forced to either enter close combat or use his light attacks for long range. Now if you can find a way to solidify the lava lake then he won't have a source to keep replenishing his power. But also be warned that if he turns Ancient some, not all maybe around a quater, of his magic will return. ))
Viva grunts as the lance stabs him though. He pull the lance out receiving electical burns to his hands. His gloves protect him some but not compelty. He crushed the lance and sets it on fire with a small fire spell. Tossing the ruined weapon away. He looks back at the Lutia and gernade. A large burnt hole was visable in his abdomen.
((remember there is a layer of steam covering the field now so visablity will be bad ))

Grenade launches into action firing a load of battle jelly into the air to blanket the area. Lutia switches out the mallet out for the mana gun and fires a large burst at Viva.
((maybe so , but that is something that i don't take advandtage of on purpose to make things more fair. I usausally don't have viva change the enviorment to contuiningly replenish his power it is very rare that i do that. ))
Viva quickly equips his halbered and runs though a series of caculations before swinging his halbered and defecting the shot right towards gernade. He wasn't sure what the battle jelly did, but he had a clue.

There was a foul smell across the battlefield as the battle jelly did its work. If Viva looked down he would notice that one of his shoes had almost been eaten away by a crude acid.
Floating in midair Grenade easily avoided the mana shot. with some violent shaking a gale of wind burst towards Viva.
As Grenade kept Viva busy Lutia pulls a scroll from behind her back.
Two left after this.
She opens it bathing herself in a healing light recovering all of her injuries up to this point.
((yes, Viva can sustain himself for a time even after multiple organ failure. He can also shunt off damaged or posioned parts of his body to stop blood flow or the flow of poison. It is a aspect that make him well suited for mass combat often throwing off his attackers who would normally have just delivered a terminal injury he shurgs off for the most part. yeah, I've use up most of my attacks though i still have Ancient form which he hasn't turned into yet, so he still has several large tricks up his sleave.))
"Terra!" A large rock shelf raises out of the ground blocking him form the wind attack. Using this time viva looks down at the acid. Thinking quicky he adjust the chemicals in his body to the effect of changing the ph scale of his blood. He then slices a artery and directs the blood flow onto the acid neturlizing it. He heals the wound and adjust his ph scale back to normal.
((And just for curiosities sake did the rain restore both his magical ability and body recovery stamina?))
Grenade shakes about again sending another bolt of thunder raining from the sky.
Holding her Mallet Mach II and Jutte ready Lutia makes a run towards the rock shelf.
((no its only one or the other. If he has two sources to draw from at the same time then yes, but how often does it rain in the middle of a wildfire? He has to chose which type of energy he wants to restore, unless he has more than one source but like i said it quite rare.))
Viva punches the rock wall causing it to shatter into several razor sharp shards and blast them right towards Lutia. Viva vanishes in a blast of white fire.
Lutia switches out the jutte for the ring using the beads to protect her from the debris.
Grenade a distance away was able to avoid it without effort.
Viva suddenly appears behind Grenade. Unfourtuntly for the summons Viva manges to get his hands on him and begins to crush him.
The strong metal protecting Grenade was enough to protect him from Viva's impressive strength for a few minutes. At close range it casts a wind spell to tear and rip at Viva.
Lutia meanwhile turns around as though in communication with Grenade and switches out the ring for her chomp pole. Casting the line in the fog she readied her mallet.
((oh yeah i went back over some of my post and i have a answer for the whole " abosrbing to restore his power thing" Viva can't like create a wildfire then use it for a power source. It was one of the limitations i place on him. But it if occurs naturally, or is created by someone else then its fair game. Therefore, Viva couldn't use the lava lake for power since it was created by his spell, but the brief rain grenade made was fair game. Also the energy he recovers is proportionate to the intesnity and size of what he is trying to absorb. A puddle, very little energy, a lake alot of energy. ))
Viva quickly takes off his coat and tosses it up between him and the Grenade. The wind shreds his coat but whe the tattered garment falls to the ground Viva is no where to be seen. A blast of intense light streaks right for Grenade moving to fast for the little summons to avoid. While another blast streaks form another direction right towards Lutia.
The Chomp makes contact with Grenade pulling it out of the way of the blast. Lutia dodges the second shot with little effort.
Grenade then uses a powerful wind spell to dissipate the fog.

From his hiding spot Viva smiles. Lutia might be known for thinking a step ahead, but this time she fell right into Viva trap.
"Infurnace!"
Suddenly hundred of thousand of energy projectilles streak towards the two form every direction, with massive beams of energy streaking their way periodically.

Lutia ducks to the ground putting on the ring and using the beads as a shield as Grenade floated there. Inhaling the fire based projectiles it began to glow a near white. When the last of them was absorbed Grenade let out a billow of smoke from its nozzle greatly regenerated by it.
So many shots at once no doubt taxed the remaining power Viva had remaining.

More rounds keep coming like a unending hailstorm. Powerful round capable of peircing solid steel slam into Grenade and the sheild. It was only a matter of seconds before Grenade would be shredded by the heavy fire.

Switching out the mallet mach II for the mana gun Lutia charged it up by asorbing the numerous shots. The force of the mana gun drew the shots straight to it where the energy was converted into mana.
((According to what i have about the laguanage, Infurnace translated is literally "Fire". Due to Viva's mastery of Fire spells, Viva when using low level fire spells he only has to speak the word "fire" and release magic energy and the spell would take effect. Now when you don't release the magic energy then its just a regular word. I mean can you think how problematic it would be for Ancients when every time they say "fire" that something bursts into flames? Only for highly advanced spells must he actually name the spells as in example of Eternal Flame Dragon spells. I have a listed glossary of Ancient words in my profile, in there you can find every name for each of the 12 elements the Ancients used. Heres a question, how can she use the mana gun if she's inside the sheild? ))

The fire suddenly stops. A brilliant flash of white fire, appears aboves the sheild. Viva drops down ontop of the shield. He reaches into her shirt and takes out a pendant/key/tool known as the Key of Kel'lor. He presses the pendant against the sheild of beads. A thick mercury looking liquid pours across the beads coating them. Viva grins before leaping off of the sheild. He raises his hand and the bead suddenly break up and start to revolve around him.
((Viva coated them with a layer of Isoloium giving him control over them via the Key. The Key of Kel'lor is a artifact passed down by the Vellor family. I can manifest liquid Isoloium and control and shape it. It isn't a weapon, mearly a key to disabling and activating Ancient defense as well as help in forging Ancient weapons and machines. ))

Lutia pressed down on the ring with her thumb and the eyes of the beads glowed and hit him with a weaker version of the Jarian door beam. However from seventy directions firing in an instant he would be suffering for his tactical error.
Grenade grabs Lutias hand and pulls her away, helping her up. With Viva occupied she fires the Mana gun with the extreme concentration of purified mana.
((The Jarian lasers are powered by the goddess Jara who among other things was a goddess of resurrection so you could consider them spiritual in nature.
I was planning to wait to use that trump card for when you went accendant but this was just to big an opportunity to pass up. Oh and unless he has a magic immunity that mana blast will probably hurt quite a bit.))

Viva immedaitly seeing his mistake quickly uses the only thing that could save him. HIs muscles suddenly increase three times theire normoal size. Every vein on his his body budgles as he pumps power into every cell of his being as he acitvated Enhancement. Faster than a blink of a eye he snaps up his halberd and dagger and becomes a blur to fast fo even Lutia to track as he spins, ducks, dodges and deflect the beams with his weapons in a literal whirlwind of flesh and metal.
((Enhancment- Viva floods every cell in his body with tremendous amounts of power. He abilites increase exponteially essentially sending his body into a Overdrive mode. He becomes indcredially strong and fast, but due to the limits of his human form, he can only hold Enhancement stage for a short amount of time or his body will start to deterioate to due to much power.))
The large blast from the mana gun larger than this enhanced Viva in size hit him full on as he was busy defending against the smaller blasts that with there power left burns into the Ancient weaponry that would need to be repaired later on.
Lutia taps the toes of her shoes to the ground one after another and adjusts her glasses. Straightening her hat and scarf she draws the Mallet Mach II and Chomp pole ready to keep up now with a few more tricks.
Grenade floated upwards away from the battle ready to supply cover fire when needed.
((Everything Lutia wears has a unique trick to it or special ability. The shoes when activated can increase her leg movment for every time she taps it against the ground. (To a certain limit.) and the glasses have a number of charms from protecting her against death spells, charm spells, eye based magic and can be used to follow high speed movements to a certain level. Probably not at the same speed as Viva but she should be able to keep up.))
Viva stands up and blasts forward still in his enhanced stage. His damaged weapons almost instantly repairing themselves. Viva vanishes form sight then appears a split second later behind Grenade with his halberd finishing its swing as he slices the summons in two.
Before the halberd could slice him in two Grenade desapeared into the summon plain.
At nearly the same speed Lutia cast the Chomp as it flew in the air in blinding speed as Viva was focused on Grenade it latched onto his ankle.
Viva easily senses Chomp coming. A white aura surronds chomp. Suddenly he turns and hurtles right for Lutia. Viva hits the ground and immdeialty drops out of Enhancment.
"Infurnace!" The place is suddenly filled with projectiles again.
Lutia catches theChomp and switches out for the Jutte and the mana gun again. With one hand she holds up the mana gun absorbing oncoming shots while holding the Jutte ready.
((remever the Jutte was damaged so it might be as effecitve this time))
Viva eyes narrow as he watches the projectiles beind absorbed. He hurls a ball of compress light energy at her well.
((I recall but it is a very powerful Item. Even damaged it should be able to handle it. Heh. The Jutte is actualy strong enough to break much stronger weapons than the halberd so it should still have enough power for this.))
Option A: Lutia watches as the blast destroys the nearby well as the bucket to draw water from the well went flying through the air.

Seeing the slightly larger and brighter blast flying toward her Lutia dodges to the side avoiding the blast as it its the ground where she was standing.
His stamina is impressive.
Tapping her shoes against the ground a couple more times she runs towards Viva at a blinding speed with her hammer ready.
It is to bad that I must replace this spell on my shoes after each use or I would have a fearsome advantage.

To bad for her the moment she stops using the mana gun she gets slammed by thousands of energy projectiles form that hadn't ceased firing. There were just to many to dodge.

((The Jutte was designed by someone with a deep hatred for weaponry. If it was not damaged it could in theory shatter a weapon of city destructive levels.
It has in the past destroyed a large broad sword that absorbed the souls of its victims. On the other hand I did not intend to break it anyway.
It is a steel mallet with a number of openings that is powered by steam. Designed by Erk Lock it can use concentrated steam to increase the speed and power of her swings and can even be used for flight.

Fortunately so long as she held ont othe gun it would continue its absorbtion so she continued to hold it above her as she moved letting Viva use up the last bit of his magic on these attacks as she began to formulate a plan.
Viva grins as he watches one of the attacks get drawn in. While Lutia was preoccupied, she failed to notice Viva fire a low yeild energy blast form his right hand. As expected it got drawn into the gun. Unluckly for Lutia, so did his dagger he hid in the blast. The dagger had sliced though the gun shredding it before passing her by.
The gun broken caused a small implosion sending the dagger and built up energy into the entrance hall of the Jarian base.
((A cheap failsafe but a preexisting one. The original idea was that any energy the gun absorbed could be channeled into the door if it ever broke to prevent a massive explosion upon its release.))
Pulling out a second scroll she opened it up activating it causing an intangible field to spread out upon the area preventing technology magical, ancient, modern or otherwise to cease function. The spell would remain up until it was countered or when a week has passed.
Using the speed offered by the mallet and her temporarily enhanced speed Lutia sped towards Viva faster than ever. Switching out the Jutte for the curved dagger that was only slightly damaged she slashes his neck severing a few tendons.
((With the fog gone and a combination of the shoes and the mallet I would imagine she is going faster than normal Viva at this point.))
Viva takes the slash to the neck without much effort. For him it was nothing but a scratch. Unluckly for her though moments before Viva has changed the ph of his blood again. So when she cut his neck she gets highly acidic blood all over her dagger and hand. Viva punches her in the face with enough force to send her flying.
Lutia takes the punch lightly and falls with it o she is not greatly harmed by it. Flying in the air Lutia switches out the dagger quickly and touching her burned hand against the scarf to neutralize the acid. Drawing her Chomp pole she casts it again this time making contact with the top of Viva's head making for a humorous look for a second before it bit down.
Viva bursts into water again. Even though she had healed her hand, the blood stiil had its desired effect by melting part oft of kinetivity. reforms behind Lutia and slashes as her back with his halbered.
((She has to change out weapons each time. She cannot actualy wear the ring and hold another weapon at the same time so she had unequipped it when she equipped the dagger.
For a close range fighter though he has more magical power than anyone I have ever seen who specializes in magical power O.o.))
The moment Viva desapeared she ducked catching onto his routine. When the dagger swiped over her head she caught Viva in a scissor cross and switching the chomp pole with her Jutte she slams it down breaking the bones in Vivas legs.
Though he was a powerful ancient such a would would take a little time to heal, and thats assuming they heal in the right position.

((Well Viva is a close and long range fighter. so he good at both, the turning into water bit isn't really magic, its a assasination and stealth technique designed by the Keri'ly clan, it uses a tiny bit of of magical energy but not enough to be consider a spell, more like a byproduct, refined by the technique))
Viva was expecting this from her, she was playing right into his hands. As the Jutte comes down, he grabs the jutte while holding the Key.
"Magmus."
If the weapon was made of metal, reguardless of any safeguards or charms it had, it would instanly revert into molten metal. Normally this spell would be stopped by such safeguard, but when combined with the Key such defenses would be swept aside. Unfourntlely for Viva he could only use that specific combination only twice more that day.

Really though. You might want to try RPing with someone like the Churtle for a while, get some practice with a character who is not so powerful.))
However the Jutte instead took the heat and was reforged by it restoring its past damage. Similar to Viva the Jutte grew in power as it absorbed the essence of the enemies it has slain. In the Juttes case it was weapons of the apocalypse instead of human souls. A dull ringing sounded within Viva's bones threatening to shake the flesh off of the hand holding the jutte.
Lutia swings the Mallet Mach II, its steam power giving it greater speed than Vivas own it hit him square in the side of the head and threatened to keep going (With the head in tow) Straight off his shoulders.
((Key of Kel'lor...its a artifact heirloom that can assist in forgeing weapons, it also is a key to open the massive stong gates leadin to the Ancient's Capital city called Kel'lor. It can also activate or disable Ancient weapons. What Viva used was a advanced forging technquie in attempt to melt it. And what do you men? I play several other characters as well who aren't as powerful as Viva. Rob, Dimitri, Dagar, Azackron, Rai, Xi, Solon, Tictac, Dante, and countless NPC who are used as cannon fodder. Viva is just the one I've put the most work in.))
Viva withstands the blow by increasing the osteocytes in his bones. This also has a added effect of making him slightly stronger. He holds onto the Jutte then slashes it in two with his halberd.
The Halberd sticks to the Jutte not penetrating it but not unable to be removed from it.
A blast of steam fires from the Mallet Mach II burning Vivas face with its pressurized air.
((Well the Jutte is not an ancient weapon but something that has absorbed much power. You would have an easier time snapping the halberd in two.))
When Viva absorbs souls is he actualy holding onto someones soul?))
((how is the mallet able to work? You said you laid down a spell that disable techonlogy. Therefore the mallet should be nothing more than a blunt weapon. As for your question, it depends on what form he is in when he kills the target. In Human or Ancient, he doesn't actually store the soul, more along like create a link to the enemies soul to his own soul. With Viva's soul being dominate to those he has killed. This allows him to summon up the other souls he has "absorbed" and use them for additional power. The catch is that he must kill the target first. In Ascendant however his soul mixes with all of those he has killed but they act as one. In this form he doesn't have to kill a enemy to take their soul. He can extend a tendril of spirtiual energy that will rip the soul form a target's body and draw it into himself. In Ash'a'khan form he doesn't link the souls but rather devours them. He destorys the souls and feeds on them aloong with with feeling of pain and death. Since Ash'a'khan and Clanlords cannot "absorb or link" to souls th are unable to build up the spiritual power to Ascend. ))
((It is no longer producing additional steam it is now opening valves to release steam presure. For example it is no longer capable of flight but by pressing one of the hidden switches it can be used to launch in a fast spinning arc or release raw steam.))
Viva takes the steam blast to the face with no effect. Appreontly it slipped Lutia mind that steam was heated water vapor so it just got absorbed by Viva. Viva usins his superior strength pulls his halbered back, yanking the jutte of out her hands as well. He leaps back way to gather up his thoughts. He suddenly grins then teleports. Several seconds later he comes back with his halberd free of the Jutte with said weapon no where in sight.
"You can forget about summoning the Jutte back, You won't be able to. "
((Let me elaborate on what happened when Viva was gone. Viva teleported inside the city of Kel'lor, there he used the Key to revert his halbered back into liquid form, therefore freeing his weapon. Then he telported back leaving the jutte behind, the catch is that the city itself is protected by a powerful energy sheild that keeps anything form teleporting in or out it was a defense created to keep clanlords and bloodguard form just teleporting in. Now normally Viva wouldn't be able to either, but like I siad the Key can disable or activate Ancient defenses. It quite a useful tool except it has no combat abilites.))
Viva, using the longer reach of his halberd begins a seires of slices and thurst swith his halbered using the polearm weapon to keep out reach of her mallet.
Lutia breaks into action dodging each thrust of the weapon with little effort using a series of slow steps and using the mallet to block against the halberd.
Waiting for the right opertunity she catches one of the branches of the halberd with her handle and kicks the balk of the hammer upwards. The nature of the rotation sent the halberd swinging in the air and clattering to the ground behind her.
With a clear opening she swung the mallet connecting with Vivas neck. since the only bones in that neck was the spinal column which was connected by vertabrae that could not be hardened without harming the bone it would be a good point of attack.
It would've worked to, if his halbered hadn't sliced though the handle. The majority of the weapon missed Lutia, though a few of the serrations on the side grazes her and cut her open with no resistiance. They weren't too deep but the flesh would've been been ragged and bleed a decent amount.
((This is where we hit a wall of argument. whether the halberds arm sliced through hammer handle before the move was made. Im being fairly easy on you considering you have broken every one of Lutias weapons.))
((hmm...well it depends on where she places the handle and how down the hanle made contact with the blade. Remember even if part of the handle is sliced off then the weapon can still be used. It just that it would've been better to say that she slipped the handle under the blade rather than stick it in the path of it. ))

((well the blade of the weapon tapers down to a single molecule's width on the edge. Most material it can slice though without any risistance since it cuts on a molecular level, the only exception is other indestrutiable elements which will block the blade. The nature of the metal also allows it to techinally slice though energy as well, but it more like absorbing it. Though it cannot transfer absorbed energy to viva, only absorb and release energy in a manner similar to the mana gun. But Viva prefers to mearly just deflect energy attacks than absorb them with the weapon. The Sol'fer'luna was orginally created to help amlify the Solairis, since in the larger hands of a Ancient it is nothing more than a strange ax rather than a halberd.. It does this during the "charging" stage of the attack where it helps amplify and concentrate the enormus amount of light energy for the attack. Like i said it depends on where she attacks the weapon. If she attacks the flat of the blade or the handle she can defect it, but attacking the edge first will only result in it just slicing though the weapon. You must also take in consideration Viva physical strength, even if the blade is blocked, the opponet must aslo be strong to avoid Viva from just pushing the bocking weapon out of the way. Its one of the aspects that makes him a excellent close combat fighter. It's hard to block his weapon outright. one must outmanever him. Which soudn't be a problem for Lutia. Its not like he's going to hack her intwo, this is after all just a spar not trying to kill each other. Thats why Viva choked her instead of breaking her neck in that one part. The most Viva will to to Lutia is giver her a few gashes maybe a few broken bones thats all. I allow Viva to take more damage because he can regenerate it when he feels like it, so therir won't be any permant damage.))
((Alright. Though you should be aware that deflecting a weapon with another weapon is a big difference from blocking with a shield. You have classified stories in history of ninty year old men using small fans to block an attack from a broad sword. Deflection is a difficult art of changing the trajectory of your opponents weapon with precision movements, not something that can be used successfully without many years of training. It is when your blocking an attack that strength becomes a factor.))
Lutia snaps her fingers again making Grenade reappear who promptly began casting weak healing spells.
Lutia draws her dagger and came at Viva again.

viva quickly summons his own person tiger Azackron. He quickly mounts the tiger and shifts his rigthing style to that of basic calvary. Zack takes off charging right at Lutia, with Viva using his halbered like a lance now.
((Asackron- Viva personal summons and mount. Azackron is a white tiger larger than a rhino. He is more covered in plate armor and can use magic. mainly ice and earth magic. Can regenerate at a slightly faster rate than that of other tigers of his species but not as fast as viva. Can comminicate telepathically and has been with Viva for years. ))
((I suppose it would look bad if I killed it. Lutia is actualy fairly experienced with fighting things proportionally large.))
Lutia waited as the tiger mount came at her and moments before the lance could reach her she rolls top the opposite side and stabs upward with the now sharpened end of her mallet handle stabbing through the chest of the tiger though managing to miss any vital organs or arteries. From her position Viva would be unable to reach w ith his halberd without incapacitating the tiger.
((yeah it would like viva killing Chomp. Besides why would you kill Viva's trusty sidekick? icon_crying.gif Besides i tried killing him off, but i just couldn't so i borught him back. Oh yeah did i forget to say he has the personailty of a giant kitten? makes for some awkward sitiatiuons between the two.. icon_sweatdrop.gif))
Zack roars in pain. Zack rears back and swipes at her with a paw larger than her head. Meanwhile Viva channels light energy into his halbered to amplify it before a beam of light lances form the center prong and burning though Grenade

Grenade blew out a cloud of smoke and as the halberd arced toward him it passed through without any resistance.
Lutia holds her legs together and kicks sending the tiger flying backwards in the air and off the hammer. Reaching into her pocket she produces a small mouse toy.
I was saving this for Justice.
She sets it on the ground and it comes to life running along the ground at incredibly high speeds.

Azackron looks at the mouse for a second before igroning it. There would be a time to play later. The tiger's wound slowly starts to close as it begins to heal. Zack turns and charges at Lutia again.

Lutia rolls to the side avoiding the tiger once more and slams the mallet against its hind paw. Then she moves quickly out of the halberds longer range.
Zack quickly leaps out of the way of the attack, before turning and letting loose a ice blast right at Lutia.
Lutia dodges to the side avoiding the shot narrowly and swings the hammer again getting the tiger in the upper thigh.
Viva repositions his halbered and deflects the blow, leaving Lutia open. Zack quickly capitalizes and claws her back.
Lutia rolls out of the way and nicks the paw pad of the tigers foot as it swung.

((Since this fight is really heating up I will disclose more of the Lutia information.
The scarf has an enchantment upon it that will nuterelize poisons and acids and is charmed to 'regrow' and torn off parts of it. It is unremovable by anyone except Lutia and has a minor charm that allow her to eat and such without needing to remove it.
The hat is a limited hammerspace able to contain up to ten objects. It also has a minor charm to prevent it from falling off unless removed forcefully.
And Lutias singular specialability to wield any weapon is seemingly unlimited not based on a weapons size, wieght or and prerequisit requirments such as for a specific person or race. However anything that is ridable she has little talent for.
((Heh i might have viva get serious soon. Its been a long time since he's gone up a enemy tough enough for him to go full out. I also should warn you that I remembered a way that Viva's halberd can destory pratically any weapon Lutia might have. Might seem like godmodding to a degree, but the intresting thing is this will work in real life no need for really out of control powers or abilties just a simple soultion ^_^ you'll see later on. Viva main stragtey right now is to disarm Lutia and force her into a hand to hand situation icon_whee.gif ))
Zack twists out of the way moving Viva out of the path of the hammer and getting Viva into postion to smack the mallet aside with the handle of his halberd. As the two weapons make contact a loud metallic tone rings in the air. If Lutia were to pay close attention to Viva faces, she would see a small smile cross his face.
Got you.
Viva flicks his halbred knocking her mallet out her hands, once she is disarmed he jabs forwards with his halberd.
((She is incapable of fighting hand to hand. Fortunatly I have a few tricks of my own.))
Lets see if this works.
Lutia moves slightly to the side and grabs the halberd by the pole. Raising it she pulls Viva off of the tiger and swings him at it like a large hammer without any difficulty. The halberd might have been designed for the exclusive use of Ancients but it would not stop Lutia from wielding it.
Perfect.
Lutia snapped her fingers again.
Viva lets go of the halberd and twists in the air landing on his feet. He holds out a hand and the mallet flys to his hand. He takes a quick moment ot look it over. He almost immediately starts to understand how it works.
He opens the valves and release all the steam in it, which he absorbs. He then takes out a small crystal and places it on the back of his right handed glove. The crystal glows for a moment before it returns back to normal.
Lutia looks at the halberd for a moment apraising its ability.
"A real piece of work. Your lucky to have it."
She lunges with it while holding her dagger close to act as a defensive weapons.
The tiger is knocked over as Grenade barrels into it preventing the tiger from joining the confrontion. It holds up its fists and does a few punches in the air as it stares down Zack.
((This is a fine fight. A little more over the top than I am used to but the first time I have ever had to use so much of her arsenal in a single bout.
Would you mind if I use a semi developed weapon? There were plans for Lutia to recieve it in an RP but the time for it was never right.))
Viva grins and holds the mallet ready.
