Appearance:  Extra: Flirt, bit arrogant, from Southern, good at compositions, respects masters and journeymen. He's the only redhead in a family with black hair. He often jokes with his family that he was adopted (he wasn't). In truth, the red hair comes from his great uncle, Raliud, on his mother's side of the family. Timmel's parents decided to Hold in Southern with their two children when he was only six. Many speculate that he and Randinlee are related, but they're obviously not. Or are they? and anything else you think is worth telling: Loves to flirt. Never means anything by it. Is exceedingly curious. Pretty much likes to keep her family life/past as much of a mystery as possible. Had a younger brother die from Consumption. ARE she and Timmel related? The truth is, yes. They are, in fact, cousins. However, no one else on Pern except for her family knows this. Why? I do not know. They're just weird like that.
Randinlee is envious of dragonriders. She loves the Hall, adores music, but often wonders what it would be like to be a dragonrider.

I noticed you invited me to the guild, so here I am. And yeah, this series is my favorite. The Harper Hall trilogy is a close second though.

Εʟʂɪɳɑ ~ Ϣеӌɾϣѻɱɑɳ Ѻӻ Ίɢеɳ ✫✫ Character Name: Elsina ✫✫ Location: Igen Weyr ✫✫ Rank: Weyrwoman ✫✫ Dragon Info: Naranth ~ Gold ✫✫ Fire Lizard: Skilly ~ Gold ✫✫ Appearance: The first striking detail about her is the beautiful shade of silver that falls a little past her hips. Uneven bangs fall just above her eyes and frame the smooth skin of her face. Following that would be the glittering steel-blue eyes that give off her inner strength and will, but they also hide her uncertainty. She has a lean well-built body that is barely hidden beneath the thin silky cover of her sandy-brown dress. The thin materials of her outfit are light and easy to breath in due to the hot and arid climate of Igen, however she has managed to keep her skin a milky white color and has yet to show signs of tanning in the bright sun. On top of it all, on a chain around her neck rests a large crescent shaped pendant and on either side rests two large blue stones, a shade brighter than the color of her eyes. This necklace seems to be a very dear object to her..... ✫✫ Character Age: 18 ✫✫ Character Gender: Female ✫✫ Character History: She is a local to the weyr, the result of a long forgotten mating flight between a green and a brown. The first thing the pair noticed was just how quiet their child was, which made it difficult to care for her. The adults found no fault with her as she grew older, but the other children would always tease her and play pranks on her, making her a sort of outcast and seen as the troublemaker when she fought back. When she reached a total of six turns both her parents were lost between lowering the number of dragons available in the weyr. That was when the weyr discovered her uniqueness as every rider and dragon heard her cry out at the news. But as before she slipped back into silence.... She eventually became forgotten in the weyr as they tried to focus on bringing up their numbers, seeking aid from their fellow riders. Nine turns had passed since that time and the only Queen left to the weyr had laid her final clutch. She stood on the outside of the hatching grounds, listening to the hum of the dragons and the keeling cries of dragonets as they burst from their shells. The crowd hushed, even the dragon's hums seemed to falter as chaos broke upon the sands. a plaintive cry came from the young queen of the clutch as the girls before it were not who the young dragon was searching for. Everyone thought the same thing.... their final chance would slip between forever and Igen would be lost. The queen did not falter, her head swiveling to the exit of the grounds, charging towards her, knocking the girl over as her eyes whirled in happiness. Impression had occurred when a warm loving voice announced her name in the young teens mind. Thus began her new life at the Weyr.... three turns have passed since then..... Which is what he hopes for. Soft silky strands of golden hair is kept short, allowing a few strands to fall about his face gracefully. He has heard from many ladies about how stunning his looks are and how they tend to throw themselves at him during gathers. Working with his dragon has caused his usually lean frame to bulk up slightly with muscles, but over all he still looks like he would be an agile fighter and not some hulking behemoth. His casual wear is light and thin for breathing well in the more tropical climate of Ista. Though taking flight still ensures that he was the typical riding gear of all dragonriders. ✦✦ Character Age: 23 ✦✦ Character Gender: Male ✦✦ Character History: His father was a bronze rider, his mother was one of the many weyrfolk. When he was young he was very much a mother's son and spent very little time with his father. As such he had not known the man all to well. As he grew older it became known and realized that he seemed to lack the ability to show his emotions, if he had any at all. This was confirmed after the death of his father. It was his father's fault for he had also caused the death of a handful of werylings. His life changed after that. Many riders began to see him as a possible repeat of such a horrible event with other riders. He ignored them, keeping that mask upon his face. Then it happened, as though fate's intention was to make things worse, he impressed Sigeth, the first bronze hatched from his clutch. He was bogged down with more tasks than any other weyrling, held back from learning the things necessary for his dragon to fight and fly against thread. That was when the scowl seemed to permanently attach itself to his face. He eventually managed to make the rank of wingleader only because the Weyrleader of Ista saw that he was one of the best dragonriders for the job. He secretly was hoping to be able to leave the Weyr, but so far there was no hope of that for him. Until now.... He is lean, scrawny almost, slender in every way. He looks quite like an agile person and with muscles he could be quite the fighter if he wanted. Minor hold life had not meant he could be lazy, thus he does have a hint of the efforts of his labors, but mainly in that he worked as a part-time runner. Ask him for a race and you were sure to lose to his light and speedy body. ☽ ☽ Character Age: 15 ☽ ☽ Character Gender: Male ☽ ☽ Character History: There is nothing fancy about his past. Born in a minor hold outside of Ruatha and in the middle of a wide range of siblings life was just... normal. His parent's were happy holders, he played every day with his siblings before finding himself the one in charge for the younger ones. With some lean times he took up running part-time throughout Pern, earning a few extra marks for the family to get its needed supplies. He could recall the first time he saw a dragon. In fact it terrified him as a large shadow loomed over him before a voice called to his mind, forcing him to stop on the trace. A blue dragon landed about two dragonlengths away in the clearing and its rider jumped from his back. Before he knew it, the rider known as J'ter and lifted him a-dragonback and they went between. First to his home and then to the Weyr. Thus his exhaustion when he had arrived at Benden... He so hoped he could impress and make his family proud....

It is usually kept in a braid so the youngsters don't yank on it when she holds them. She has green/brown eyes that shine with curiosity. Personality: Shy around riders. She absolutely adores children. I guess it reminds her of home. History: From a small hold, Jenna lived a cautious life. Everyone living there always had a grim look on their face. And they had a good reason. With all the rouge watch-wher attacks its hard to stay happy. Jenna often had to sleep with her younger siblings because they would wake up from too many nightmares of attacking monsters. When she was Searched out, her parents were relieved and left her no choice but to go. That night, she overheard one of the Aunties saying "At least one of the bloodline will survive." It was a disturbing prospect but she went without complaint. Very short, he is often called "cute" by all the girls in the Weyr. The light green shirt he wears has a firelizard design on it and is his favorite. Unsurprisingly the pants he is wearing has holes in them at the knees. Let's just hope he gets them fixed before he appears at the Hatching. Personality: Daring and cunning, he is unafraid to try anything. He gets in trouble a lot for running around the Weyr too much. History: Zaneray grew up in the Weyr. He knows just about every inch of it and has several hiding spots. His favorite has a good view of the new eggs that rest in the warm Sand. People like to say how cute and small he is. It really annoys him but sometimes he uses it to his advantage. Except for a long scar on the palm of his left hand, he is unscathed by Thread. D'kor got this scar when he was pulling on a fishing trip and a huge packtail hadn't known when to quit. With the fish finally on the boat, he realized his hand was bleeding. Luckily the line hadn't cut too deep and he was able to use his hand again a few days later. D'kor usually wears his riding gear because of the cold but sometimes he likes to wear his nice black tunic and pants. He has a big grin to match his big stature. If you ever get a bear hug from this big guy then you know his strength. Personality: D'kor is a hard worker and brave. Surviving storms at sea and wrestling matches with his brothers had made him strong from the start. He is mostly quiet and laid back. When he is in charge of his Wing, he turns the complete opposite. You can often hear his booming voice when he is "scorching" someone who is out of line. History: Lived at a large sea hold with his 2 older brothers and his little baby sister. At the age of 13, he was allowed to work as a cabin boy on his dad's ship the Sea Dragon. Dankor enjoyed 2 years of helping his dad when a dragonrider came and took him to the Weyr. There he Impressed Saminth, the bronze dragon. After years of hard work and tolerance of complaining Holders, he was moved to the position of Wingleader. D'kor didn't really understand why he was given the job. After taking charge of his new Wing, D'kor is starting to enjoy it. *Dragon* Name: SaminthColor: bronze Age: 38 Turns Personality: Saminth makes sure that his partner is never late. He is somewhat good at remembering things, but sends pictures of people instead of names. For a bronze in his prime you would think he'd prefer to chase gold. Instead, Saminth likes to chase greens. When asked he just says ~I fly for the queens because it is expected of me. The other females are much more exciting~
