Nightpaw padded into the camp, the strange act named windy trailing behind her."Cedarstar?" She mewed. She looked around and saw the leader by his den."Cedarstar, I found this cat near the Aquiclan borders. She says she knows about herbs." Nightpaw didn't know what to say about the cat. She stepped backward to reveal the stunning cat to Cedarstar.
Windy stepped forward when the small cat stepped away."Hello," she mewed in her silky voice,"I am Windy. This is your "clan"?' She was still curious on what a "clan" was. She padded closer to the cat and noticed that he must be in charge.

"Yes. I am Cedarstar, and we are in need of your help." he meowed. He looked at Ferncloud who was laying next to him. "There was a fight on the BoulderClan border. Ferncloud was hurt, and we need a medicine cat. We would be grateful if you could use your knowledge of healing to help us."

Windy looked at the injured cat and studied her wounds. She took some Marigold she had just gathered, She chewed it to a pulp and aplied it to the wounds."This should help cure the wounds, but you also need rest and cobwebs for the badly bleeding scratches. Cedarstar, do you have a good area I can bring her so she could rest peacefully?" She needed somewhere where no one would bother the injuered cat.

Cedarstar nodded. "There's a small hill between the warrior's den and the elders. There's a burrow there perfect for a medicine cat to work. It's roomy, safe from cold in leaf-bare, and has a dry place for herbs. There's a tiny pool of water there too." he meowed. "Nightpaw, would you lead her there. She can put whatever supplies she has left and get comfortable. Runningwind help me move her over there." As he spoke, the dark furred cat maneuvered around and carefully picked up part of Ferncloud as best he could to not aggravate her wounds.

Runningleaf nodded and gently picked up part of Ferncloud. Who was this new cat? Did she come from nowhere? With Cedarstar he brought Ferncloud into the small burrow. they placed her down in a nice spot and waited for Windy.
Nightpaw followed Cedarstar and Runningleaf while leadin Windy into the burrow. She flicked her tail first to the pool then where she could put the herbs. She ran outside for a second to collect some soft sweet grass and moss for some bedding. She made four nests, one for Windy in the back of the den, one for Ferncloud, and the other two just in case more injured cats came.
Windy followed the three cats into the burrow. it was nicely spaced and very cozey. She noticed the pool of water and where she could put the herbs and started to place them there. She watched as Nightpaw gathered grass and moss and made small nests."Thank you Nightpaw." She mewed in her milky tone.

" I shall leave you to your work then. Please, don't be afraid to use Nightpaw to collect anything you need. Perhaps she could fetch some cobwebs for you?" Cedarstar meowed, before exiting the burrow. "Runningwind. I want to talk with you." he called as he left, flicking his tail for the warrior to follow him.

Runningleaf followed his leader out of the cozy medicine den and out into the camp once more."Yes Cedarstar?" He mewed. Runningleaf wondered if he was in trouble.
"Thank you so much." Windy mewed."Nightpaw? Would it be alright if you could fetch me some more cobwebs?" The clan was being nice to her. She wondered what would happen when there friend was all fixed up.
Nightpaw went off silently to do the cats bidding. She came back with a wad of cobwebs in her mouth. She placed them in front of the cat and waited to see if she needed anything else.

"I was only wondering how Nightpaw was during the fight with BoulderClan." the MeadowClan leader meowed coolly as he walked over to the front of his den. He sat down and turned to look at Runningleaf. "I believe it's about time she should be made into a warrior. That way you can have more free time to...hunt." He eyed the cat for a second with curiosity, but meant the words for good instead of malice. He was in a particularly good mood for Nightpaw finding a potential medicine cat. Especially now that BoulderClan had made a threat by taking Timidpaw.

Excitement coursed through his body for the chance for Nightpaw to become a warrior."She was very brave. She tried to bring Timidpaw back to camp but was stopped by one of the Boulderclan cats. She showed no fear and would be great to have alongside you in battles." he meant every word. Nightpaw may not be the friendliest cat but she is loyal. And she was very brave in the battle.

"That's wonderful. We'll hold the ceremony tonight." Cedarstar replied. He looked to see the sky turned an orange color. The sun was near sunset. "You may tell her if you wish. Though make sure she doesn't disrupt Ferncloud's rest with excitement." He knew how apprentice's cou;d get when they were soon to become warriors.

Ferncloud opened her eyes and stared blankly out she'd failed her clan, she closed her eyes again as sadness drifted into her heart

Runningleaf dashed into the medicine den to see Nightpaw waiting patiently for Windy's orders. He flicked his tail for her to follow. When they were both out of the den he spoke."Nightpaw. Cdarstar has decided that you fought bravely at the Boulderclan borders. He has decided to make you a warrior." He kept his voice calm, betraying his excitement. He wanted her to be excited. Then he saw her do something he would never think of her doing. She gave a little leap of excitement letting out a small yip noise.
Nightpaw was so excited! She was going to be a warrior! People would respect her and listen to her! The excitement was so much for her little body that she lept in joy and yipped with excitement. After her paws hit the ground she composed herself and exclaimed."Thank you Runningleaf!"

Cedarstar watched Runningleaf go off. Perhaps he's not so bad after all...he did train Nightpaw well. he thought to himself. He grabbed a rabbit from the fresh kill and brought it over to the medicine cat's den. "Here's some food for you, Windy." he meowed. He walked back and grabbed a mouse for himself.
