Assassins Creed
My loving wife bought me a 360 for Christmas. So i promptly went out and got 2 new games for it to bolster my collection of 360 games to 3. I now have halo 3, Fight Night Round 3, and Assassins Creed, and let me tell you i popped that sucker in the feed tray and haven't stopped since.
Amazing visuals, slick controls and who the hell doesn't like running around roof tops, scaling enormous towers and stabbing people with, throwing knives, swords, and daggers in spectacular cinematic style.
not to mention the story is something I've never seen before, and trust me i've play WAY to many games and watched too many damn movies. its refreshing to see something new and innovative.
The setting is you are an Assassin in the future who is kidnapped and forced to sit in this machine called an Animus which allows you to play your ancestors memories by looking into you DNA. So you control an Assassin ancestor who is part of an assassins guild trying to stop the crusades. complex but really riveting.
absolutely a must have for any 360/ps3 owner.

I'm not too sure about this game. I've heard mixed reviews on it, but everyone seems to say the same thing... The "big surprise" is within the first five minutes of the game, and the main character has a pretty crappy voice actor... Then the main drawback is it gets really repetitive.
I have heard that everything beyond that is amazing... So I'm trying to decide if those few things that are bad are to much to bring down the rest of the game like some people say... Oh well... Perhaps one day.

Assassins Creed is alright. Granted I haven't played the whole game, but what I have played didn't make me want to play more. I found it pretty redundant; "I'm being asked to collect flags for information again?"
It is, however, really really pretty to look at.
