«· Appearance ·» Mimi is an all-around cutie-pie; she always seems to have a smile on her face. Her hair is shoulder-length and as blonde as anyone's hair can possibly get. She ties it up halfway in the back with a red ribbon, which takes off at least 2 years from her appearance and adds to her child-like features. Mimi also has hazel eyes that usually seem more green than brown. Her eyes always seem to sparkle with a youthful innocence and pure joy. She has fair, flawless skin, and her cheeks always have a tint of rosiness to them. Mimi has a very slender, petite build. She stands at a mere 4'11," which is fairly short for a girl her age. Normally, you can find Mimi wearing a girl's school uniform outfit. The uniform consists of a long-sleeve peach button-up top with white sailor-style collar and green ribbon at the neck. The skirt is fairly short (as expected of this style uniform) and is a reddish brown color, though it's more red than anything else. With this outfit, Mimi usually will wear white knee-high socks and red buckle shoes. Most girls would wear brown loafers or some other kind of acceptable school shoes, but Mimi prefers shiny red shoes just because they're bold and stand out.
«· Personality ·» Mimi is, what I like to call, "overly optimistic." She is forever looking on the bright side of things. Even when unfortunate events befall her, she finds a way to keep a smile on her face. She has a tendency to want to befriend almost everyone she meets. Usually, this isn't a problem because she's such a likable person. However, should she come across a person too miserable or self-absorbed to even acknowledge her existence, let alone accept her token of friendship, she will stop at nothing until she brightens that person's day just a little (and that's only if she's in a rush). Mimi is extremely persistent and, given the time, will stop at nothing when she's on a mission to turn someone's life around for the better. Because of this, she could be classified as being just a tad "odd." But Mimi has normal qualities as well. Like any normal person, she likes listening to music (and more often than not, randomly singing out loud without any music playing). She loves Pokemon, especially her own team, and trains hard to win badges and make her way to the top. She never beats herself up when she loses a match, just tries harder next time. Mimi can be somewhat of a space-case sometimes, and that tends to get her into a bit of trouble. But what fun is there in life if you aren't a little reckless? "Che sera, sera!" after all...
«· History ·» Mimi was born an raised in Celadon City by her mother and father (see family below for details). Her mother was always home to take care of her, so Mimi picked up a lot of her mother's traits. For fourteen years, Mimi lived with her mother and father happily. But after fourteen years of living in the same place, Mimi decided she wanted to get out and see the world. She was a go-getter after all and didn't like to be cooped up for too long (and well, fourteen years was a long time). She had always had a love for Pokemon since she was a kid, and decided the best path for her would be to become a Pokemon trainer. She wanted to be a Pokemon Master in order to make her parents proud. After all, her parents had suffered a lot throughout the years because of choices others didn't agree with. All Mimi wanted was to prove everyone wrong by amounting to something great. Maybe then, people would treat her parents better.

Status: Mimi's father
Personality: Mr. Kouyama is and has always been a private man. However, he enjoys his wife and daughter's company very much which is evident by the way he opens up more around them. He is very affectionate toward Mimi and loves to shower her with gifts.
Brief Bio: Mr. Kouyama is an older man, in his late fifties. Mimi's mother is his second wife and a good twenty years younger than he. He is a businessman, and manager of the Celedon City Department store. He has three other children other than Mimi, all by his first wife - two girls, (34 and 26) and one boy (29). His first wife divorced him, and he hardly sees his other children because they are all grown up with lives of their own. Aside from Mimi being naturally friendly, she isn't very close to her half-siblings, particularly because they are all adults. In fact, the eldest child is only 3 years younger than her mother!
Himeko Kouyama
Status: Mimi's mother
Personality: Himeko is a very kind and friendly woman. She is where Mimi gets most of her traits from (as well as her looks). Mimi shares a very close bond with her mother, since her father works a lot and she doesn't have any siblings. Himeko loves her husband and daughter very much.
Brief Bio: Himeko has no other family but her daughter and husband. Her own family disowned her for marrying a man 20 years her senior and who had been previously married. In fact, she was the reason for the divorce in the first place. She worked in the Dept. store as a sale's clerk, which is how she met Mr. Kouyama. The two fell in love instantly, and would see each other in secret for six months before Mr. Kouyama's wife found out about the affair. She quickly divorced him, taking a good portion of this money. But Mr. Kouyama was still a wealthy man and, the moment the divorce was final, he married Himeko. They were wealthy enough that Himeko didn't need to work in the Dept. store anymore, which left her time to spend at home with Mimi.«· Friends of Mimi ·» ------------------------------Hideki Kudo
Status: Mimi's friend/travel companion (soon)
Personality: Hideki has a crummy attitude most of the time. He's too introverted for his own good. But Mimi has gotten him to blush a time or two. Deep down, he really is a good guy. He loves his Pokemon, and Mimi can see that. Mimi also thinks that he might secretly like having her around even though she can be such a nuisance (which is on purpose on her part, of course ^_^ )
Brief Bio: Mimi and Hideki met on Route 2 and got into a huge argument because she was her usually bubbly and friendly self, and he was a jerk to her. After their little spat, Mimi ran off into the Viridian Forest, upset, and was attacked by a swarm of Beedrill (clumsy girl!). Hideki's Vulpix, Aki, went off to find Mimi, having heard the commotion and Hideki followed her. Aki led him straight to Mimi, where he and a Roar attack from Vulpix sent the Beedrill flying. He hadn't really intended on saving Mimi, but what's done is done. Though he made a speedy get-a-way from Mimi in the Viridian Forest, Mimi hopes to encounter this boy again; he's been on her mind ever since.
Aisumaru Namikaze
Status: Mimi's friend/future travel companion
Personality: Aisumaru is rather arrogant, cold and snide, but deep down, he truly cares for pokemon and anyone close to him. He is extremely overprotective if he senses that someone he cares about or a pokemon is in danger, though will deny worrying when danger has passed, he will often be working to help out of sight and behind-the-scenes.
Brief Bio: Mimi met Aisumaru very early on in her journey; almost immediately after her little mishap when first meeting Hideki. They met again in the forest, where Aisumaru was kind enough to feed her and her Pokemon. Though seemingly cold and unapproachable, Mimi seemed to hit it off OK with Aisumaru. There was something deep, mysterious, and even caring about him that drew her in, and hopefully they will meet again real soon.
Nomaa Blitz
Status: Mimi's friend/temporary travel companion
Personality: Nomaa is a sweet, upbeat girl, with a personality similar to that of Mimi. Nomaa loves her Pokemon and is kind of a tomboy. She and Mimi get along pretty well, as she's easy and fun to talk to.
Brief Bio: Nomaa and Mimi met in the Viridian Forest early on in their Pokemon journeys. Nomaa has a rival from Pallet Town, but for Mimi, she's more of a friend than someone to compete against. Although their travels together are short, they meet up now and then on their journey to catch up.«· Acquaintances ·» ------------------------------N/A

This is Mimi's appearance when she she is 16/17 years old. The artist did a great job of capturing what I wanted her to look like!
