Talk about indie (independent) music here. What I mean by indie is music that is on an independent label or not signed at all. Not it being a type of sound, because indie is not a type of music.
What's your favorite record company? Band? Etc.
Share your musical knowledge.

Is there anyone else on their label yet, or is it just them?

I thought they were on their own, as in they made one.
I know all about their free sharing on their website as well. Which is neat, but at the same time they tour a lot and I don't know the price of their tickets, but if I had to guess they're somewhat costly, since they are a big well known band.

I don't think they created a label, I think they are just being themselves. If that makes sense.
And of course Radiohead tickets are expensive. Its one thing to let people pick the price of a CD album, it's entirely another to pick the price of a show ticket. Ticket money goes towards the tour, stadium/ground fees, travel expenses, and the pay checks of the various people working on it.
People like freaked out about Radiohead dropping their label but I didn't find it a very risky move money wise a.) they are already established in the industry and b.) have a huge fanbase. Radiohead used the label system to get to the point where they don't need one. For a band without a label to get to Radiohead status would be something else.

This is true.
Eh, I'm just not a big Radiohead fan so I guess it just doesn't excite me that much, although what they're doing is interesting.

Speaking as a big Radiohead fan, what they are doing isn't interesting me as much as I am just still way too happy over a new album to listen too. xd

That it is!
So what indie bands do you like, or whatever. I have on clue what genre the music I listen to is half the time because it seems now that music genre's have gotten so finite I don't even bother placing it - let alone look into music I like's label or whatever.
I'm not a music obsessy, sadly. Mostly because I don't like listening to music and doing something else. I like to listen to music when I have the time to listen to the music.
