I saw the video before, yep. And the Evo 9 is even better! Pretty soon Lancers will be faster than Lamborghini's!

Its all in the tuning of the engine and the track type they where racing on just a straight shot and it would've lost but it can take the turns just as well if not better than the Lambo and has the torque to power out of it

also in the suspension tuning because check this out even if it's not about the evo Mark Little Before we got to run our laps we had a chance to check out the other driver’s cars and watch as they would drive up to the course and start pulling out every piece of their car they didn’t all in the name of weight reduction. One of the guys probably pulled over 200 pounds out of his car before he went to the start line. Every person there could tell you in detail the list of mods they had completed to their car and the list of mods they were planning next. Everyone shared the same need to push themselves and their car to the limit. This crowd was focused on control and handling, horsepower did not reign supreme with this group. That was very evident when the fastest lap of the session was laid down by a near stock motor 240SX with lots of suspension work, beating out a Porsche Cayman by 1/10th of a second.
