The Kitter Katz Cabin

Deep in the heart of Draken Forest is a cozy little cabin where a small breed of Katz live. It is a place of safety and comfort.

Most people are familiar with Mira's cozy little cabin. Tucked away in the forest and surrounded by flowers, it has a knack for drawing people to it. It has an undeniable charm. A serene air about it that welcomes any comers.
Kitter Katz and humans alike are welcome to come here and relax, maybe have a nice cup of cocoa or warm saucer of milk. Or just recoup some energy before going out on that next adventure.
Whatever the reason for your stay, make yourself at home and don't be afraid to make some new friends or share a conversation with an old one.
Just, please watch your step. Kitter Katz are small, but if you step on one of their tiny tails, you'll know it!

Layout & description of the cabin:
The cabin's exterior belies the size of its interior.
The front door leads directly into the comfortably sized living room. Furnished with overstuffed chairs and warmed by an old fashioned pot belly stove, the room itself gives the impression of being lovingly lived in. There are always fresh wildflowers sitting in a cobalt blue vase on the worn out looking coffee table. At your feet, mismatched rugs are flung across the wooden floor. The walls are mostly bare, aside from the bookshelves lining the west side next to the old brown couch.

To the left, an arched entryway leads to the kitchen. Always slightly messy from all the entertaining Mira does, it's well known that everybody is welcome to make themselves a nibble or get their Kitter a treat.
There is a small breakfast nook just off to the side that lets in plenty of light and a great view of Honeydew's Garden.
To the side of the nook is a door leading out toward the garden.

A small door at the far end of the kitchen leads to the bathroom and through there, to the cabin's two bedrooms.

Hearing the telltale signs of guests entering the cabin, Mira's head poked around the doorway from the kitchen.
"Oh! You two are just in time!" She exclaimed to the two Kitters, who's noses appeared to already be sniffing the air, fragrant with Mira's newest batch of Kitter Kat Treatz. "I'm just cooling a new batch right now." She disappeared again into the kitchen, followed by the riotous sounds of pots and pans clanking together.
She reemerged holding a plate piled high with slightly warm treatz.

Leon, intimately familiar with the sounds and scent of fresh treats came bounding out of one of the back rooms, his tophat askew over one eye. Bouncing off the door frame, he zigzagged between Mira's feet and then made a bounding leap for the arm of the couch.
"OH BOY!" He cried exuberantly.

Lyra padded in demurely, her flicking tail the only thing betraying her own excitement. "Oh! Hi you two!" She said in greeting to Isabella and Scotty before taking a spot on the back of the couch, waiting patiently for Mira to serve the delicious snack. "I wonder what shape she made them today...?"

"Here we go!" The treat-laden owner declared, setting the treatz on the table as she would have done for any of her human guests. "Look! Ghosts and bats! Aren't they cute?"

Leon instantly crouched, his hindquarters twitching to and fro as he prepared for the kill.
"Don't worry my love! I shall risk ghosts and goblins to assure you a treat!" He declared dramatically to Lyra before leaping forward and snatching one for each of them. Shaking them vigorously as if they were living things, he returned with his tail arched high over his back to deliver them to his mate.

Chortling, Lyra accepted a ghost treat and thanked her beloved, yet zany male.

Nelon seemed to land on the ground like a feather and with out a sound as she glared back at the fairy. "Well maybe next time you do the running." She countered the fairy then looked at Mira and took a deep breath before she said, "Misha and I were walking in the forest when we heard a mouning. Misha said we should go find out what it is so we did and while we got deeper in the forest That fairy,"She paused to point at Piper with her paw before looking back at Mira and continuing,"Came yelling out of the bushes saying Ghost. And sure enough right behind her was a ghost. It seemed that it was trying to tell us to follow it and so Misha convinced me to follow it. It lead us to a mansion were a Zombie Kat was and they were all alone. Piper had a great Idea that we should find an owner for them and So Misha thought that you probably could find them one." She finished finally as she took in a deep breath agine as she waited for Mira's reply.

"A ghost? A zombie?" Isabella shivered. "That sounds scary. You're very brave! And you too," she added with a glance at the fairy.

"Mmm these treats are delicious...are you sure you Katz weren't seeing things? Did you find a catnip patch on the way or something? Ghosts and zombies..." Scotty cast Nelon and skeptical glance.

"Scotty!" Isabella admonished. "It really does sound scary, but if they're there, they must be so lonely." She padded over to Nelon to offer a comforting lick.

Returning her attention to the room once again, Piper snorted. "Scary? Not at all! They're harmless really. Although, that zombie thing is starting to decompose. I don't know... might have some weird bacteria growing on it or something."


"The poor dears!" Mira gasped, preparing a bag to take along with her just in case.

Ignoring the human, Piper turned a withering fairy-gaze at Scotty. "If you don't believe me, why don't you come along, scaredy kat?"

"Yes!" Piper squeeked, zooming over to Scotty and taking a perch between his ears, obviously delighted at having a ride. Taking hold of each ears, she gave him a tug. "Come on, let's get this over with!"

"Okay, let's go. Everyone ready?" Mira said, slinging the bag over her shoulder and already making her way toward the door.

Lyra called out as they were leaving "Be safe! And come back soon!"

Leon looked up just in time to see Scotty leaving.
"Are they going somewhere?" He queried the room in general, having missed the entire conversation due to him being absorbed completely in his treatz.

Rolling her eyes at Leon, Lyra pads over to look out the window.
"I smell it too." She said to Isabella.
